We have two community events for you this week:

First, @bridgetjamieson is hosting Foodie Friday at @princecoffeepdx (Fremont) at 7 am. Join us for a 4 or 6 mile route then hang out afterwards for some great company.

Second, we have Big Fun Long Run at Fairmont this Saturday. Meet at the intersection of Talbot Terrace and Fairmount Blvd and we’ll circle up to discuss workouts and find pace groups before doing some 3.5 mi loops.

Questions? DM us and we’ll get back to you. taken in Portland, Oregon by @rosecitytrack

What it looks like to PR and break 3:30 🌹

Congrats to @lakutner on a great race at @pdxmarathon! Despite it feeling like her hardest marathon yet, Laura stayed positive and powered through the second half with @sftokarski pacing her along the way.

You’d never know it was anything but a fun run from her smile and contagious energy.

Congrats, Laura! ❤️ taken in Portland, Oregon by @rosecitytrack

🏆✨ Congrats to our September Heart & Sol Award winner, @tranjon_ ! 🌟

Jon officially wrapped up a major chapter last month by graduating with his PhD in Mechanical Engineering! 🎓 And because apparently one major accomplishment wasn’t enough, he also earned this month’s Heart & Sol Award.

If you know Jon, you know he brings contagious energy to the team. He has a special knack for becoming quick friends with just about anyone he meets and making everyone around him feel a little more connected.

Whether he’s challenging someone to send it on the track, teaching us the latest TikTok dance, or simply showing up for his teammates, Jon has a way of bringing people together and making the team a little more fun.

We also want to recognize our amazing nominees from this month whose dedication and heart continue to elevate our community:

Chelsea Warren
Valerie Weilert
Talia Staiger
Nicole Kiley
Calvin Deutschbein
Emma Huston
Adam Neale

The Heart & Sol Award is nominated by teammates and voted on by the board each month, celebrating the people who embody the spirit of Rose City Track Club.

Huge thanks to @brosocki and @sol_chiropractic for fueling the celebration with 🍕 + a free cupping session. 🙌

Congrats, Dr. Tran!! 👏👏👏 by @rosecitytrack
