So excited to be teaming up with @abandonedpetrescue to help spotlight some of their adorable shelter babies 🐾

Meet Harper 🤍 She’s an 11-year-old domestic short hair with the prettiest brown tabby coat. Harper has spent her entire life in the shelter, patiently waiting for her forever home, and she deserves it more than ever.

She’s incredibly sweet and affectionate, and loves gentle pets and cozy beds. The kind of quiet companion who just wants to be near you 💕

Harper qualifies for Abandoned Pet Rescue’s Medical Adoption Program, which means all of her veterinary care will be covered for the rest of her life, so she can be loved without worry. She’s vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and ready to go home!

hi, hello 🫶 let me (re)introduce myself, I’m madilyn, the face behind the page ✨ here are a few little things about me:

1. born & raised in southeast michigan, with a childhood soundtrack of motown
2. one of four (middle child) - i have a tattoo to honor my siblings 🤍
2a. I have another amazing sister (IL) who has given me the title of auntie x2!
3. 100% maltese 🇲🇹
4. pisces sun + moon, taurus rising ♓️♉️
5. i feel most at home near the water, ocean, lake, even a quiet pond… instant peace. mermaid energy always 🌊
6. i’ve been in south florida for 5 years now, moved here after landing an internship at the hotel i was vacationing at… and never looked back (longer story for another time)
6a. now 2/3 of my siblings live here too 🥹
7. i love tattoos & piercings, they all tell little pieces of my story
8. by day, i work in professional sports + live entertainment
9. i love traveling, especially solo. i’m always taking photos, finding local art, meeting fur babies, and sometimes even getting a tattoo wherever i go
10. i’m finally fully embracing my creative side, something i’ve danced around for years, but now feels like home 🎨
11. my art is inspired by my mom &dad, stained glass windows, and my cat, clawdia 🐈‍⬛✨

My second spotlight with @abandonedpetrescue 🐾

Meet Angus, aka Gus! This sweet boy is a Hound / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix and a total gentle giant at 10 years young. He’s a big baby who loves the simple things: relaxing with a stuffed toy or curling up for a cozy nap.

Gus was found on the streets of Fort Lauderdale, Florida before brought to APR. He is a true native Floridian 🌴 From beach days to palm tree shade, he’s ready to trade in shelter life for a loving forever home.

Gus is crate trained, potty trained, and does well on a leash with proper guidance (which the trainers are happy to provide!). He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and more than ready to find his forever home. 🤎

One of my most recent drawings is a particularly special one. 💛

I recently attended the wedding of a longtime friend from Florida and her husband. They first met years ago through their Japanese club, and now they’re even hoping to go to Japan for their honeymoon. Along with their sweetest little girl, Mami, @chiibimami they inspired me to create this piece as part of their wedding gift.

Creating meaningful gifts for the people in my life is what started this journey for me, and every time I get the opportunity to make something so personal, it reminds me why I love doing what I do. Being able to create pieces like this for others has made this process even more rewarding than I ever imagined.

Their ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful, love filled every corner of the venue. I’m so grateful I was able to celebrate alongside them and witness a small part of their incredible love story. Thank you for letting me be part of such a special day. 🤍 by @rosecoloredday

My third craft show is officially in the books ✨

This one was my first outdoor day/evening show, and I’m so happy with how everything turned out! I applied a lot of what I learned from my last shows added business cards, postcards, and even some non-animal pieces to my inventory. Every show teaches me something new, and I’m excited to keep learning and improving each time 🖤

I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing people in my life who continue to show up loud and proud to support me. It truly means everything. I’m also so thankful for all of the wonderful vendors I’ve been meeting along the way, some are definitely becoming friends.

Now it’s time to work on some commission pieces and finally add the rest of the zodiac signs to my collection!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported, shared kind words, or took a piece of my art home. I appreciate you more than you know.

Happy belated Gemini season ♊️✨
As a Pisces, I’ve always felt there’s something special about the connection between Pisces and Geminis, we both carry those “two sides” in our own way. Some of the most important people in my life are Geminis, and the bond always feels unique, dynamic, and full of energy.
