I fought so hard to stay alive.
I never imagined one day I’d be fighting for the chance to create life.

If you know my story, you know what a miracle it is that I’m here at all.

And I will never stop being grateful for that.

But gratitude and longing can exist in the same heart.

I can thank God endlessly for the life He gave me and still deeply desire to become a mother.

I don’t know exactly how this chapter will be written yet.

But I know the God who carried me through what should have taken my life has not forgotten me here.

So I’ll keep praying.
I’ll keep hoping.
I’ll keep showing up.

And for every woman whose heart is ready for a baby while her body isn’t…

Waiting is not the same as being forgotten. 🤍

Meet the Polar Bear Club. 🤍

To the man who taught me how to ride a bike, ride a horse, race four-wheelers, irrigate the pasture, drive a big truck, and who took us camping, danced around bonfires, embarrassed us in the grocery store, took us to see Hillary Duff LIVE, taught us to clean our rooms Marine Corps-style, never missed a sporting event, sang karaoke with me, drove from Nevada to Texas the moment he heard I’d been in a serious accident because he knew I wanted him there, and years later came to watch me as I married the love of my life…

Thank you for everything and for trusting us enough to hand over the keys/ reigns (even if that was occasionally questionable 😂).
