The story of how we found Roseleigh and how we got it will forever be special to us. It was all my mum in laws fault one afternoon on a dog walk she said Claire come look at this l, I’ve found the perfect house for you and Alex, out of curiosity I went and looked and it all went crazy from the very moment I see it. What a journey we had to get to where we are

I cannot wait to come home from a hard week’s work on a Friday to a finished garden where we can chill fire up the BBQ and spend some quality time together.

It’s been a very wet cold and gloomy weekend in the South East. We had Flo all day Sat, by mid afternoon it was feeling cold so, excitedly I lite the first log-burner of the cosy season. A log burner has to be one of my@most favorite additions to our home renovation.

This might be controversial… but STOP wrapping your Christmas tree lights around and around! 👀🎄

If you want a fuller, brighter and more evenly lit Christmas tree, try my Christmas tree lighting hack instead.

✨ Rather than spiralling your fairy lights around the tree, take them up and down vertically, working your way around the tree.

The result? So. Much. Fuller. 🤎

It helps spread the lights throughout the branches rather than leaving you with loads of lights on the outside and dark patches in the middle.

I’ve used this Christmas tree decorating hack for years and honestly, once you try it, you won’t go back! 🎄

Save this for when you decorate your Christmas tree this year and send it to someone who ALWAYS struggles with their Christmas lights 😂

I do love getting the autumn wreath and garland out on the snug. The colours are so vibrant and cosy. I do creating wreaths and garlands, it’s something I’ve for many years. Before we moved to Roseleigh I almost made it my full time job!!.

This one in the snug is a good few years old and to be honest she’s looking a tad ropey I’m thinking this might be the last year for her until I dismantle her to create a whole new one for next year 🤎🍁 taken in Kent, United Kingdom by @roseleigh_rose
