Conversations around agricultural transformation must transcend boardroom meetings, panel discussions, and event highlights to create lasting impact for smallholder farmers and the communities they support.

That is why we are excited by the growing eagerness for collaboration and partnership at the Africa Agriculture Science Week (AASW9). By working together, we can turn ideas into action, strengthen agricultural value chains, and deliver meaningful, sustainable change where it matters most.

We look forward to building impactful partnerships that empower smallholder farmers, drive innovation, and transform the future of agriculture across Africa and beyond.

The Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop by the Nigeria AgriBusiness Group gave all shades of agribusiness exposure.

As a continued commitment to building the capacity of Regional champions to drive inclusive agribusiness transformation at the grassroots level, @nabg_ng organized a 2-days intensive ToT workshop that brought RCs from the South West, South South, & South East.

Our sessions covered;
- National Integrated Agribusiness Agenda (NIAA)
- Agrocommodity Standard Grading
- Climate Smart-Agriculture
- Seed Policy
- Diary Policy
- Tomato Policy

The role of RCs is crucial in transforming Nigeria’s agribusiness sector.

This is a strong, intentional movement by @nabg_ng
We are moving from farming to agribusiness. Taking one step at a time by creating a resilient, competitive, and inclusive agribusiness sector that drives economic growth, food security, and rural development.
And as always #leavingnoonebehind

Last slide: Last day of training got me celebrating the feast of the last supper in Edo State, to mark the first day of Easter Triduum season ✨

Long live the King!

A beautiful King’s day celebration on 27th April, by the Netherlands in Nigeria @nlinnigeria to celebrate the 58th birthday of His Majesty King Willem-Alexander, Embassy & Consulate General of the kingdom of the Netherlands in Nigeria.

Yes, I was tired from work stress already but who misses a King’s banquet, right? 😄

Light. Camera. Action!😄

Reminiscing on my vox pop experience on the street of Laygurzzz😍

In the month of love, on a less stressful day at work, my colleague asked if I was interested in joining them for Vox pop. Of course, I joined them cos we were going to ask questions pertaining to prices of food as against last year and measures people are taking to survive.

Curiosity made me JOIN🤭

It was hard getting people to be questioned😄 until we promised them that their faces wouldn’t show before we got some few persons.
As usual the owners of Lagos wanted to disturb but we conquered 😜

If it’s pertaining to food/agriculture, count me in!

It was a beautiful experience with Lagos Talks FM.

The Future of Agriculture conference by @businessdayng was highly informative of the steps necessary in building a sustainable agribusiness.

With key stakeholders converging at Oriental Hotel VI, Lagos, the 2 panel sessions focused on:
- Future proofing Nigeria’s food security
- Strategies for securing food from Farm to households/market access.

Slide 1: It was a great time to meet a distant mentor, a brother in faith, and a very senior colleague in the industry @johnalamu the GMD Johnvents Group.

Slide 2: Picture session after an insightful conversation with Mr. Kola Masha, MD, @babban.gona

Slide 3: As a promoter of agribusiness on radio, it was also great meeting our radio host again, Dr. Adelaja Adeshina of @bdelliumconsult2024

As a way to stay informed in the industry, attending necessary industry events is key.

I attended the @agrofood_plastprintpack event which happened first quarter of this year. It was a great event bringing together stakeholders in the food industry, from processors to packaging companies, different European countries investing largely in Nigeria’s agriculture were also present.

With my role @futuxinfo, it was also a good time connecting with some of our partners @controlunion @delphybv and @heifernigeria
