Same spot. Bit different angle. Four months apart. #hurricanehelene The river moved. That much. My head is kinda blocking the bridge and old river area in the photo. by @rosettastar

Shopping for dogs instead of kids, gifted bits of cheer and magic reminding me how loved and lucky I am , and the gifts headed out to bring the cheer to others by wandering angels. I love you all. Love each other. Hold on y’all, it won’t be winter forever, I promise. by @rosettastar

If you have FEMA hotel vouchers (or can afford 50$ a night … ) use them. They have bathtubs and the sun is out. by @rosettastar

Captains Log: one week closed today. We’ve fed a lot of humans, we’re now partnering with Grassroots Aid Partnership - GAP to shift from just downtown hot food, to meals to take out to locations people are trapped at. We’ve recieved food donations from French Broad Food Co-op, @Curate, and Black Trumpet Farm. Today we got an emergency call from a friend working as a volunteer at the AB tech shelter, they had 50 people without meals (rumor is Red Cross dropped a ball). We were able to get them food by dinner time, but we’re all exhausted. Hug your loved ones. Keep sharing our posts and help us get some funding. They say no water for 4-6 weeks. This is going to be a long slow crisis. by @rosettastar
