2 Corinthians 5:17-21 🤍. . . . To die for a group of people you don’t know, out of love, just so that they have a place, along with you, by the Father? Knowing the prophecy that lied ahead, awaiting the day of crucifixion, and STILL accepting the fate? All out of charity {LOVE}!?? That’s a LOVE I’m willing to fight for and never let go of! Even if that means letting go and unlearning everything I once knew. And I pray you do the same too!2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV says; “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”Some people question, why is Jesus put on the highest of pedestals? Why can’t we just pray to the Father, if He is the one who created the heaven & the earth, us and Christ himself? John 14:6-7 NIV; “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will know the Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.’ ” Man was created in the image of God, yes! But due to the fall of sin from Adam? We were all birth into sin. Therefore God created His Son, Jesus Christ, to be the perfect image of man. To endure suffering and persevere through hardship. All so that He may complete the prophecy, receive God’s mercy and offer us sonship {begotten} through His Holy Spirit. Through Christ’s intercession, our faith in Him, and our devotion of carrying out the ministry of charity unto others? Is how we are blessed to know and receive the mercy that is the reconciliation of our Father, God. To those new on their journey or even rededicating their lives? With all the curiosity and uncertainty that you have? I encourage you to take your time and allow the Lord to guide you through better understanding the Word. So that you may too, receive His wisdom. Today actually makes 2 years since I loc’d my own hair!! My locs have truly given me a deeper sense of admiration of my kinky curls. I’ve been loving this journey every single day — from having micro extensions to embracing free forming. Just wanted to shine some light on my natural hair and document my beautiful hair journey 🥹😍🌀•• I used to tussle with my free form texture, trying to figure out different styles. But I truly began damaging it with excessive heat 🥲. So I was contemplating on what to do…During culinary school, I actually decided to try faux locs to see if it would suit me, my style, and my daily lifestyle.Fast forward to July 2024, I finally made the commitment to permanently MicroLoc my hair! {AND YES, I LOC’D MY OWN HAIR 🙂‍↕️✨} BUT I was determined to have color in my hair 😂🧡. Soooo instead of damaging my hair even more? Because that was what I was hoping to refrain from doing by going completely natural, I decided I just install colored loc extensions. I kept those in for about 9-10 months and said “It’s too hot for all this hair.. if you’re in Texas then yk 🥲} Mostly though, I was really looking forward to watching the process and seeing how long it would take for my hair to grow as well as completely loc up.Now, I’ll be going on 2 FULL YEARS in my commitment to Microloc my hair! With a total of 186 HEALTHY LOC BABIES 🤭🌱😍!! And I’m just in LOVEEEE with how much they’ve grown! Do I miss my free form texture? Honestly? Not as much as I thought, or as much as people said I would. I don’t regret this decision one bit ! If anything? I wish I would’ve done it sooner 😂. But here we are and baby I am NEVER going back! ••I love the FREEDOM and PEACE that my locs provide me. It also encouraged me to value & be grateful for the crown I carry 👑. If you’re thinking about transitioning? I encourage you to test the style with faux locs for about 3-4 months. And if you’re like me, and you love it?
