Just a reminder that your dreams matter. ✨️
My dreams matter, your dreams matter.....the dreams of that annoying clerk at the market matter.
Our world is made up of all the manifestations of a billion dreams.
We forget that.

Sometimes, we run from our dreams because we think we're not good enough for them.
Sometimes, we shelve our dreams because people told us "that's not realistic"...

✨️Don't let ANYONE talk you out of your dreams....even you. ✨️

The quote says it all.
These magical beings are one of earth's greatest gifts. ✨️
When was the last time you paused to really look at one? Or touch its trunk and close your eyes, listening?

I often wonder what Mother Nature is trying to hide when a swift and sudden fog rolls in on an otherwise sunny day.

This time, the light still somehow hit the water, and we could peek the shimmers, though we could see nothing else.

Pretty much.
Never EVER get tired of this view 😍

It's been a full last few weeks of #Summer on the #MontereyBay. With cafe views, and pup cup sightings.....public art, and community parks, and always the trees 🌳 and the ocean 🌊 watching over us 😍

The real summer starts for us here in September and October, traditionally...because a central coast summer can often be more like Winter or Fall.

Here's hoping for no more fires, sweet golden light, and warm beach days 🤞

Are you taking a moment to breathe?
The wind does talk to us, I've only just been discovering this. But, peoples much older and wiser than us already knew that.
....wisdom rediscovered, I guess.

My joy is the road. How about you?

So many moments make up our hours, days, weeks. It all FLIES by so fast. Are you paying attention? Are you IN your moments? Or just watching them fly by you like lost butterflies?

It's hard when every moment has 100 things pushing into it in our modern world. But, I've discovered that the more I am in each moment, savoring only the "now," the more full my life feels. 🤷‍♀️

....but, I still lose a lot of butterflies every week 🦋

Another week in my life. This time, with a small jaunt to #SanFrancisco. Summer just keeps on truckin' and California has been beautiful. 😍
Cheers to all the randos caught in my camera's wake. 😄

Highlight of the week was seeing the KQED Forum with @ciaosamin in Oakland. (Thanks Ginger Elaine!)
Shout out to Fava Bean. 🐕 Can't wait to get her new cookbook! (Samin's, not the dog's ha!)

One of my favorite things in the world is going up the escalators of public metros and having the big beautiful buildings of the city slowly come into focus....like a fade in from a movie. 🏛 That's buried somewhere in this reel.
Yes, there may be more exciting views than the one I captured this time, but it's still brings me those #littlejoys.

Day higlights. This one was memorable. Farmers Market, fertile farms, sweet fruits & cold drinks, and souvenirs from the garden to take home. 🌞❤️

You'd think that I loved summer more as a kid. But, as I get older, I enjoy it more and more. The beautiful bounty, the pace, the loooong days and late sunsets. Lemonade on the grass with friends, and ice cream cones on a stroll.

This summer, I've loved watching the bees and saying hi as they whiiz by, smelling the lavender, lounging in the sun with friends, and knowing i have until 8:30pm. to watch the sunset 🌞

What's your favorite summer moment?!
