Living+ makes use of arts, culture and intergenerational dialogue to bridge the gap between complex public health themes and younger audiences.

Its first season, Memories in Motion (2025), centres on the lived realities and emotional legacies of HIV/AIDS with a curated month of performances, exhibitions, youth-led interventions, rituals and storytelling programmed across Amsterdam.

We developed a brand strategy and visual identity to embody this vision, workshopping ideas and reference points with the client to get the tone right. It was important to balance the seriousness of the subject with visuals that engage with the young target audience.

Head to our website to read more about what we have been up to recently.

For Living+, we created a logomark from a hand sketched head icon, which features a subtle L+ in the neck and eye areas.

The typographic style is inspired by the graphic language of campaigning and is designed to appear both serious and informative.

The core pink colour used for this first season of Living+ was sampled from the Silence = Death logo featured in faded archival imagery from the late 80s.

We were recently tasked with creating an identity for Living+, a cultural initiative founded by socio-cultural initiator Jacquill G. Basdew.

Living+ makes use of arts, culture and intergenerational dialogue to bridge the gap between complex public health themes and younger audiences, making these subjects more engaging and accessible.

For Vans’ 60th anniversary campaign ā€˜The Authentic’ we created a Spatial Retail Concept to complement the campaign photography featuring high profile figures, such as SZA, Travis Barker and Hayley Williams.

Minimal and flexible, the design kept the focus on the images and product whilst giving retail teams the freedom to switch things up, and stay visually consistent for each drop.

Raw plywood and concrete created a visually clean foundation with bespoke shoe walls, and utilitarian pegboards made sure the products popped.

For the full details, head to our website.

Name: Mark
Job Title: Depends what day it is
Year started at RL: Long ago and in a galaxy far far away
Favourite moment of 2025 for the team
Watching the team grow. Seeing them step into their own, lead projects, own client relationships, and bring their individual flavour to the work.

What project, that wasn’t produced by us, did you love the most from 2025?
Hmm. Bandit Chicago Flagship in Chicago was interesting - creating a running store that acts as a true third space, with a focus on community will always speak to me. A space that is designed for connection, that encourages people to stay, to gather, rather than just to buy is cool - adding in an epic sound system and cafe makes it feel like an authentic hangout space. Plus it's a nice design.

What are your 2026 goals?
Travel more. Meet new and interesting people. Share ideas, hatch plans. And hike the Dolomites Alta Via 1.

What is the tool you couldn’t be without right now?
My sketchbook. Very analogue. I write notes, ideas, and doodles on whatever I’m working on, often logos. I try to always have it with me as ideas come at odd times.
Alongside that, a few AI tools have helped me structure thoughts and communicate more clearly. Being dyslexic, that’s been genuinely useful while still keeping my tone.

Who would you love to work with this year, your dream client or sector?
Automotive. Taking what we've learned from sport and performance brands, especially around storytelling and innovation, and applying it in a new space. Back in the day we used car photographers to shoot athletes. There weren't sports action photographers like there are today to shoot campaigns. It would be cool to switch it up.

Name something that has really inspired you this month - music, art, culture, book?
Podcasts especially Tetragrammaton. I listen a lot, especially on long hikes, they help broaden my perspective on topics and feed into the thinking and writing I do on Substack.

What do you want to see less of, in the industry, this year?
Negativity. There's enough going on at the mo, so as creatives we should be solving problems, provoking ideas and inspiring each other. taken in Alta Via 1 by @rosie.lees

Next up in our team Q&A is Toby, our Designer who joined the team in 2019.

1. Favourite moment of 2025 for the team
As a team we’re often split across different projects, so getting everyone together to celebrate the studio is always a highlight. This year the team went to Angouleme, France. I missed it for a gig I couldn’t skip, so sadly my favourite moment is one I watched from afar.ļæ½

2. What project, that wasn’t produced by us, did you love the most from 2025?
Nike Football’s rebrand by @ilovedust. It brings back that Total 90-era energy, but sharper and more aggressive. The system feels built for attacking play, with a proper nod to street football. It’s been great seeing it roll out across the latest World Cup kits and film-poster style campaign work.ļæ½

3. What are your 2026 goals?
Level up in motion and art direction, lead more confidently and show up earlier in the concept stage. Relaunch my website, post more consistently and get back into making physical work again, print, collage, experiments.ļæ½

4. What is the tool you couldn’t be without right now?
Pareto Planner. It’s helped me plan properly, keep my goals visible and manage work and life without everything feeling like a blur.ļæ½

5. Who would you love to work with this year, your dream client or sector?
A music festival or event series. Brand, space and motion all in one place. I’d love to work on festival identities, DJ visuals, motion systems as well as stage and event design.ļæ½

6. Name something that has really inspired you this month - music, art, culture, book?
A @stbridefoundation talk I went to in January called Collective Power. Speakers included: @typeasimage, @neue_miller, @iiiindiiiii, @lizmmosley and @the_localtype. It helped me reset my head at the start of the year, making me want to collect more, put more time into discovery and document the things I’m drawn to.

7. What do you want to see less of, in the industry, this year?ļæ½
