The new Vesper Bar at @thedorchester who's coming for cocktails? 🍸

It is a pleasure to share that two of my gold-leafed cyanotype works are now sitting alongside original drawings and photographs by Cecil Beaton at the revamped Vesper Bar at the Dorchester Hotel. The legendary cocktail bar, with new interiors by Martin Brudnizki, is lavished with ornate designs throughout including a 1930s Palladium leaf ceiling.

Big news this week! I have been awarded a DYCP ( Develop Your Creative Practice) Award by The Arts Council !! Beyond thrilled to have been awarded this enormously competitive grant. It is going to help me develop my photographic darkroom practice over 2027! I've never looked forward to January more!

Massive thank you to Arts Council England for this wonderful opportunity-I shed a little tear when I got the news dreams can come true!

Soft Animal I 2026
Gelatin silver print, hand-printed in the darkroom from Ilford HP5 35mm negative on Ilford Multigrade RC Warmtone photographic paper | 17 x 22 cm | Variable Edition 1 of 5

The title comes from Mary Oliver’s Wild Geese:

“You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.”

I love the simplicity of this idea — of allowing ourselves to return to something instinctive, physical and natural.

Personally I am very much enjoying the womb-like surroundings of the darkroom, as well as the sense of play and experimentation it affords me. The silence, the red light and the impossibility of rushing the process allow me to slow down and pay attention. I’m learning to let the process unfold naturally, leaving room for discovery and surprise — and allowing each print to reveal something slightly different.

THROUGH THE SENSES - ROSIE EMERSON

In our latest feature, Rosie Emerson shares her return to the darkroom and to shooting on 35mm film, reconnecting with the analogue processes that first drew her to photography.

Alongside this, she continues to explore photograms, incorporating flowers, grasses and other botanicals directly into the photographic process. Her recent works embrace the tactile, experimental and unpredictable qualities of analogue photography.

This is a glimpse of my first edition from this series which will be launching next week !

Earlier in the year I joined a darkroom having not been in one for over 20 years it been a really exciting journey and a rediscovery of old techniques with a new perspective. The darkroom was where I first fell in love with photography and it's great to be back. I joined @post_creatives in Hove supporting a growing network of passionate photographers and incredible talent. I'm looking forward to get to know everyone there better as I continue to develop this new series of works.

I'm both nervous and excited for you to see it will go out next week 1st October marking a new chapter in my practice.

I am also going to Paris! Thrilled to announce that I have further editions launching in Paris in November with @bright.artgallery as part of Paris Photo week more details on my Paris debut to follow.

What a night at Brighton Beach House! A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for the launch of Inside the Artist's Mind alongside the brilliant Rosie Emerson.

Watching Soho House members get hands-on with wild flowers, textured grasses, and traditional inks to pull unique botanical monoprints was pure joy. Bringing art off gallery walls and directly into tactile, shared experiences is what Kaos Projects is all about. Until the next one!

I've been working hard behind the scenes putting together a Collector's Catalogue of significant works that are still available.

It will be released to my mailing list this Sunday at 7pm. If you'd like to browse it before kick-off, make sure you're signed up (link in bio).

The catalogue brings together a carefully curated selection of original works, one-of-a-kind pieces and hand-finished collector editions, many shown with in situ mock-ups so you can see how they might live within an interior.

It includes works such as this collaboration with artist Beth Nicholas, alongside rare originals, monoprints and a number of pieces from editions with only a few remaining.

Since putting the catalogue together, one piece has already found its new home which is lovely

I hope you enjoy exploring it as much as I've enjoyed creating it.

We have been in my house 10 years and I've only just gotten around to decorating- cause you know life! It was dark red before so it really quite a change - at this rate it will be another 10 before I've painted all the rooms but i'm getting there slowly- it's been fun choosing artworks for freshly painted walls this one's gold leaf really catches the light here and even goes with new gold taps! #bathroomgoals #circularart #goldleaf #turquoise #artistshome by @rosieemerson
