$NEWS to share—On Jan 12, a Monday, I was run over by a car making a turn as I crossed the street in my neighborhood. I have fractures in my R ankle and knee and a very gruesome injury to my L forearm where skin was torn away down to the tendons (sorry, that’s what happened). So I am completely laid up now in a rehab center, hoping that with healing and PT/OT I will slowly begin to function again close to normally. I had just got to the point of good strength and walking ability after back surgery a year ago, then in October Doug died. Now this. I’m working to stay centered. It’s going to be a long haul. To all our friends and family this photo was taken in February 2024. Good times. A timeout spot for us in Redhook, Brooklyn. Beer and yummy tacos.

In the last 4 weeks, trips to the ER, three hospitalizations and 10 days in subacute rehab, which was torture.
