👉🏜Every one of these is something a buyer can see or smell within a minute of walking through your door. And every one of them makes people quietly wonder what else got skipped. ✅Pink or black slime in the shower caulk and grout. That is not a cleaning problem. That is a ventilation problem. Run the bath fan during the shower and for 20 minutes after. ✅Lint packed into the dryer vent hood outside. Failing to clean the vent is a leading cause of dryer fires.Clean the whole duct once a year, not just the lint trap. ✅A rust ring or white crust at the base of the water heater.That tank is already talking to you. Get the anode rod checked before you are mopping the floor at 2am. ✅Weeds growing out of the gutters.Water is dumping straight down against your foundation instead of away from it. Clean them spring and fall. ✅White chalky powder on the foundation wall. That is efflorescence. Water is moving inside ✅A range hood filter you can scrape grease off with a fingernail.Pop it out, soak it in hot water and dish soap, once a month. Ten minute job. ✅Foggy windows you cannot wipe clean. The seal between the panes failed and moisture is sitting inside the glass. You cannot clean that. The unit gets replaced.
