Conner Martell returns with Subaru Motorsports USA for the final round of the 2026 ARA Rally Championship, the Lake Superior Performance Rally.

With rivals Lia Block and Seth Quintero in a tight fight for the overall title, Martell’s goal is to bring the team and himself the event win. With Travis Pastrana still out with a broken leg, it’s Martell’s time to shine on the colorful, technical stages of Michigan.

🏁 Victory for Subaru Motorsports USA at LSPR!

Conner Martell and co-driver Ross Whittock delivered a dominant performance in the Subaru WRX ARA25, taking the win at Lake Superior Performance Rally in Marquette, Michigan.

The pair won 12 of 13 contested stages, including the SS16 Power Stage, and set new stage records on every stage except Mount Marquette. Among those were previous records held by Travis Pastrana on Menge Creek and Al’s Playground.

An outstanding result for Conner, Ross, and the entire Subaru Motorsports USA team to close out the 2026 ARA season!

After four stages, Conner Martell and co-driver Ross Whittock return to service in first place.

It’s been a tidy first loop of stages in the Subaru WRX ARA25 with no issues to report. Conner and Ross hold a +23.3 lead over Seth Quintero and James Morgan.

Technicians have a long, hour-long service to get the ARA25 prepped and ready for the second loop, including a jump on SS10.

Conner Martell returns to substitute for the injured Travis Pastrana for Lake Superior Performance Rally in Marquette, MI. He will be joined by co-driver Ross Whittock as they drive the Subaru WRX ARA25 Open 4WD class rally car through the forests of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Join us this evening Thursday, October 8 at Fox Marquette Subaru for Parc Exposé and the ceremonial start at 6:30pm EDT.

We’re ready for the final round of the 2026 American Rally Association season at Lake Superior Performance Rally, October 9–10, with @connermartell21 and co-driver @ross_whittock returning to the Open 4WD class Subaru WRX ARA25 while @travispastrana continues to recover from a leg injury sustained during freestyle motocross practice.

A longtime Vermont SportsCar test driver and runner-up in the 2025 ARA National Championship, Conner brought extensive experience in Subaru rally machinery to his competition debut with Subaru Motorsports USA at last month’s Overmountain Rally Tennessee. With Ross Whittock alongside him, Conner stepped in for Travis Pastrana and ran in podium contention before a rock impact caused damage and cost the pair significant time.

Now heading to LSPR, Conner and Ross will look to turn that promising pace into a podium result as we close our 2026 ARA campaign.

The ceremonial start of LSPR begins on Thursday at Fox Marquette Subaru from 6:30-8pm EDT. The action starts on Friday at 1pm.

With Travis Pastrana out due to injury, team test driver and 2025 event-winner Connor Martell stepped into the hot seat at Overmountain Rally Tennessee.

Subaru Motorsports USA returned to action with their Open 4WD class Subaru WRX, facing off against a stacked field including WRC Champion Ott Tanak, Brandon Semenuk, and championship leader Lia Block. The pace was high from the start and competition fierce, but a wayward rock played a deciding role in the end.
