SPARROW 2005 -

Darren “Sparrow” Kenna was one of the first people I met when I began making photographs for what became JOYRIDER.

As I came back with different ideas (and cameras), Sparrow stayed close by in Balcurris.

Here’s a few of the photos we made together over the years.

Halloween night 2005 was the inception for what would eventually become JOYRIDER.

Ballymun is a place of wildness and reverie every Halloween.

While photographing a bonfire in the neighborhood a young @giltrap1 approached me and said “if I wanted to see the real shit come with me”.

I did.

The rest is history.

JOYRIDER is available now.
