Many years ago while working at @bouchon_bistro with @chefthomaskeller I had the absolute pleasure to collaborate on a dinner with Chef Jacque. It was and still is one the proudest moments in my career. Now it’s your turn to come and Celebrate Chef Jacques Pépin’s 90th birthday with me and 20 of the top Bay Area chefs at Le Grand Pique-Nique on Oct. 25 at @ciaatcopia. Enjoy a reception in the Hestan Kitchen before joining Jacques at an epic three-course family-style dinner featuring incredible wines, an extraordinary birthday cake, auction, and a toast to the man himself.

In honor of @_tfl_ 30 year anniversary, this is a photo that was taken at the 20th anniversary celebration. These are a few the chefs that I “grew up with,” and some of the most talented people that I have had the privilege of knowing. Happy anniversary @chefthomaskeller and @_tfl_! So proud to be a small part of the legacy. Thank you for the knowledge you’ve shared, and for showing me the endless possibilities. Thank you for setting the bar and trusting all of us to meet it. As young culinarians, we got to put dishes on a 3-star Michelin menu. We ate, slept, and breathed food. These were among some of my most challenging, but fondest and most rewarding, moments in my life. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Wishing you many more. by @rossmelling
