The Lord has been so good to us.

On July 15th our family doubled with the arrival of our sweet girls. Through the entire delivery, the Lord had His hand on us all. Lainey Jo & Josie Kate, you are so loved.

Don’t despise small beginnings. 🤍

We had a location planned, but the Lord redirected our steps. And when He leads, we follow. We don’t want to build something simply because it makes sense to us—we want to be where God is calling us. We don’t need to know every detail, we just need to say yes.

We believe there is something stirring in this city. There is more to come, and we’re honored to be a part of what God is doing in Anderson.

This is only the beginning. We’re trusting God with every step and believing He has something greater ahead.

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin...” — Zechariah 4:10

This is just the beginning. We’re saying yes, showing up, and trusting God with every step.

Anderson, you showed up!

What a day at the Gaslight Festival!

We got to meet new faces, share some laughs, hear stories, and spend the day getting to know the people who make this city what it is.

We don’t just want to have a church in Anderson. We want to be a church for Anderson—showing up, building relationships, serving our city, and doing life together.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and made this day so special. We’re just getting started. 👀

This past Sunday, I shared one of my last messages at Life Church as the Pendleton Campus Pastor, as I will be stepping down at the end of February.

These last four years have been marked by life, discipleship, restoration, and growth. Serving this house has been one of the highest honors of my life. It became the place where we would begin our marriage and dedicate our own children & many others of wonderful families.

But over a year ago, I went to my Lead Pastor and told him what God was stirring in my spirit — a vision to plant a church. I didn’t know the date or the details, I just knew the direction. And a couple of months ago, God brought clarity, language, and conviction for this next assignment. The Bible says, “If you have not been faithful with what belongs to another, who will give you your own?” — and we have sought to be faithful.

This decision was not emotional, reactionary, or pressured — it is obedience. I love this church & the people in it, I honor my leaders, and I refuse to let rumor or cynicism steal the narrative from what God is actually doing.

So we’re stepping out. Not because we have every detail, but because we have a calling. We believe God is sending us to build something that will impact cities and nations through the local church. As we transition, we’re asking for your prayers — for myself & Kelsey, our family, and the future church plant. More details will come as the Lord continues to unfold them.

We’re moving forward with faith, not fear — with mission, not reaction — and with full confidence that God is just getting started.

The Magi set the example for us; to follow the light unknowing where it will lead. I know too many Christians who call hesitation "wisdom" when Heaven has been calling for obedience.
This season may you learn to release control, build trust, & submit to the Light.
