POSTS STORIES REELS

So, this sculpture might look a touch different than it did the last post. It’s going in an overall positive direction and is much more what I had intended when I had first attempted an orc magnet sculpture some years back. It was rubbish and thanks to where it was sitting in the studio it caught a fair amount of dust, feathers, and birdseed so I actually just chucked it in the garbage last weekend instead of trying to strain the clay and make it useable again. I have a lot of different clays here so tossing less than a handful away is negligible.

The big event of the day is that the US has started attacking Iran again. Targets were in the Strait of Hormuz. None of this is surprising and it feels like the US government is trying to bait Iran into throwing the killswitch on the internet here to avoid having the election. Methinks that isn’t going to work as Iran is generally quite a few steps ahead of the dotards in our government. The big worry is still Trump wanting to employ nuclear weapons on Iran, which obviously would not be good for the world in any way, shape, or form. Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail. Hitting Iran would also negate the usefulness of their oil repositories, which the Owners would find distasteful and unprofitable. So it’s not as likely to happen, but there is still a non-zero chance because more war also keeps Mileikowsky in the driver’s seat of the Israeli government. All we can do is to wait and see and keep organizing.

I haven’t said much about the impending election. What is likely to happen is that if Team Blue Jackass takes over both houses they will do nothing to stop war in Iran. They will do nothing to stop any of the genocides. They won’t impeach Trump, and they will spend the new two years feigning helplessness with much gnashing of teeth, wailing, and rending of garments. Hopefully, with that probable outcome, more citizens will come to understand that neither red nor blue give a fuck about you. It took the students in Serbia two full years of organizing a third party to make a huge dent in that government’s legislative makeup. So we keep organizing, even as difficult as it is. My love to you all. Free Palestine!

Beginnings of Orc 2. Orc 1 is nearly ready for molding. Just a few small places to touch up. In case anybody wondered (they didn’t) this under-skull was last used for the Innsmouth dweller. It’s fun posting these completely nonsensical stages because if Meta wants to feed things into their slop generator, it’s good to give it garbage to chew on.

Today is a day where too many things are happening around the world to put together a cogent throughline. All I’ll say is to keep pushing back against all genocides and the systems upholding them. We need class solidarity to really make headway with the issues affecting us. Remember, the working class vastly outnumbers the self-perceived elite by multitudes. They know this. We are out-organized at this point. Build your communities. Take care of each other. My love to you all. Free Palestine!

Trick r’ Treat- Drawing of Sam from 2018. I’ve always enjoyed drawing in black and white with one accent color. It’s a lot of fun. This was one of the more successful “quick” portrait drawings. By quick I mean around 4-6hours in total. Getting the black background solid would have been the most time consuming part with the wood-less colored pencils.

Happy Halloween to those who celebrate and partake in it. Be safe out there, especially those in California. My love to you all. Free Palestine!

Fantasy Friday- I decided the Audrey II was going to be too unwieldy as a magnet so I decided to shift gears. Since this one is going quickly I’ll likely do another orc which is more LOTR style. I’m leaving the sculptures fairly clean and unadorned so I can customize individual ones with Dremeled scars and Apoxie Sculpt adornments. These will take less resin as well which is also a boon.

Not much to say tonight other than to stay vigilant, especially if you are in California. ICE is absolutely crawling all around LA and are staying at the Hilton Gardens in Burbank (protected by Burbank Pig Department) and are also apparently staying in Studio City near Universal at one of the Hiltons. So, keep your head on a swivel, especially because they are doing night raids and arrests.

Stock up on some basic supplies if you are able to. Though it is common practice for military bases to go into a survival mode of sorts, we do seem to be headed for something big. All of the warnings other countries are giving about stockpiling for a few days to a week could be an attempt to jumpstart the stock market, or it could mean something bigger. Either way, it’s not a bad idea to have non-perishable goods in hand, as well as candles, batteries for lights, water, first-aid supplies, etc. And for those living in wildfire country, make sure your bug-out bags are up to date.

My love to you all. Free Palestine!

TBT/In Memorium- This drawing was done in 2019 when I was doing pretty much exclusively celebrity portraiture. Sir Patrick Stewart was certainly a fixture in my childhood. Star Trek: The Next Generation was a show I watched consistently. Picard is still my favorite of all ST captains. The character and performance was absolutely something special. And growing older and learning that Stewart was an ally to working people as a socialist and was also a stalwart ally towards all folks in the LGBTQ+ family boosted my already strong fandom of him. RIP Sir Patrick Stewart. Thank you for everything you gave. 86 years is a solid run.

I find it strange when fascists like Stephen Miller who are anti-communist, racist people profess to be Star Trek fans. Star Trek’s messaging was the opposite of that world view, donut stands to reason that these same people read Orwell’s ‘1984’ and saw it as an instruction manual, not as a cautionary tale. Similarly people like Peter Thiel who is also a fascist loves Lord of the Rings and decided that the Palantir used by Saruman was an excellent business model. These miserable excuses for people embody all of the worst of mankind. The world would be a brighter place for their absence. Hopefully they are all special guests at their own Italian Piñata Parties. Sooner rather than later.

If rumors are to be believed, we are in for some very dark times very soon. The military is practicing digging mass graves. Yes, it is possible for overseas usage, but the Imperial Boomerang returns faster and faster these days. MOABs dropped on Iran are precursors to similar attacks here. Or, as false flags used to justify more war in Iran. MOVE House and the destruction of Black Wall Street were just practice runs. Blue and Red both want you dead.

Be good to each other and check on each other often. Build your communities and stock up on some necessities like non-perishable foods and fresh water, just in case. Burbank folks, keep your eyes peeled. ICE is in town. If you see them, call the hotlines, take photos and video if possible, and post them online. Alert your communities. Stay safe out there. My love to you all. Free Palestine!

Weird Angle Werewolf Wednesday- This was just a bit different angle that appealed to me. If the figure was standing fully upright, he’d be around 18” tall, so pretty sizeable. I had stopped working on this because I was working on an arm separately and it became simian in proportions and made me angry. I’ll get back to it again, but I also need to get his immediate environment made to finalize his pose.

We got official confirmation that Flavio Bolsonaro is indeed in Florida. Included in that is verification that Marco Rubio was involved as was Venezuela, providing cover for the flight as well as ground support. It’s not out of the question for America is going to try a repeat performance to kidnap Lula. Brazil is important to the plans of the fascist regimes in the US insofar as minerals, oils, etc. It is all part of the Monroe Doctrine, which is ultimately just an extension of Manifest Destiny. It will also not be a surprise if the US kicks off aggression against Iran to use as global media cover for their attempt at kidnapping Lula. Especially since US citizens are being told to stock up on supplies to last a month. I’d be remiss if I didn’t say that it would also serve as an opportunity to cut internet services to keep US citizens in the dark to buy time for more openly heinous operations with ICE, etc. without the threat of online exposure. So, keep your eyes open and stick close to your community and friends.

Be good to each other, check on each other, if possible, get a landline, CB, or other form of communication, and keep up your actions and education. Keep building your community. My love to you all. Free Palestine! Hands off Brazil!

I just have to keep shaking my head at white fragility and privilege. It is beyond cartoonish at this point. From calling the pigs on a three year old Black child who was outstanding as a soccer player to two boomers calling the pigs on a Black-owned restaurant owner because they didn’t like their ribs (after eating the majority of the meal) and trying to get a free meal out of it. You really can’t make this stuff up. I want to laugh at the absurdity, but knowing how deadly serious those situations are to the Black folks affected certainly takes away any humor. These people calling the pigs know exactly what they are doing. It’s malicious intent. Absolutely insidious.

It is absolutely our job as white folks to end white supremacy. We cannot kick the can down the road or think that it’s somebody else’s problem to fix because it’s not. Keep educating yourself on real history, not the white supremacy-laden garbage the public schools are teaching and that the glowing propaganda box spouts. Read books by Black, brown, and other indigenous authors and historians.

In unsurprising global news, Flavio Bolsanaro fled to the US after refusing to give up his passports to local authorities in order to try to escape charges which will land him a jail cell next to his criminal father. Make no mistake, the US is still trying to stage a coup in Brazil. This cycle isn’t over. Bolsanaro is in America to “safely” build the right-wing groups in the region from afar. This is standard CIA modus operandi. If they can’t game an electoral system, they turn to brutality. I won’t be surprised if they try something similar to the kidnapping of Maduro with Lula. All of this is why the CIA needs to be fully dismantled and the agents given a long, quiet retirement.

Keep your eyes open. The road is still rough ahead of us and is only going to get worse. Build your community and it’s not a bad idea to make sure you have some essentials stocked up. My love to you all.

Repainted Anubis ready for clear coat sealing. I’ve painted enough of these that they go quickly. It just takes a little bit of focus. May retouch the eyes, but we’ll see.

One of the things we are seeing online are liberals trying to co-opt the electoral successes of Serbia and Brazil to promote their “VBNMW” voting strategy. What they lack in their thought processes is an honest, clear understanding of what actually happened in both places which centered around community organization. The biggest change will be in Serbia, but that change only happened due to years of student organization and building up a new party, which American liberals absolutely refuse to do and instead denigrate those calling for an ousting of the two current major parties. We are already in fascism. Like Israel, it will not really matter what window dressing the fascism wears. It will still be fascism. The structure of our government will not fundamentally change with blue fascism. Our situation will not be changing through electoralism. The direct action/community building a number of us have been championing for more than a decade is the cornerstone of a new system and society. But liberals just want window dressing and the appearance of change so they can brunch in peace.

Build your communities folks. Stick together. Keep up your education. Winter months are drawing closer, so do what you can to stay healthy, especially if you are traveling. My love to you all. Free Palestine!

More refining and starting in on micro details. Pores at this scale are actually fun to do. Ironically, I use the same sized tool for them at this size as I do on a life-sized sculpture. Getting close to the molding stage on this. I can mold this and Horus at the same time since Horus is about 99% done as well. Some small bits of smoothing and it can go onto the next step as well.

The West Bank is rapidly becoming the next Gaza Strip. Mileikowsky has escalated military action because he needs something resembling a victory in order to possibly stay in power as PM. His other option will be more war with Iran to then postpone/cancel elections. He doesn’t want to risk imprisonment, so he’ll continue to abuse the power of the position as an act of self-preservation. If he cancels elections, it’s very possible that the Israelis have their own civil war and riots in the street. Anything which helps the collapse of the apartheid state is not a bad thing.

For those not knowing what to do, how to go about organizing, the BPP has published a full plan on the site uate.net. That is a good start. We are badly in need of community organizing if we want to beat back capitalism and the oligarchs. We need to build dual power structures and completely bypass the trap set by the oligarchs. It is the only real way to a better world. Capitalism must meet its end.

Be good to each other and check on each other often. Continue your actions and education. Escalate when possible. Build your community and get creative. Stay healthy and hydrated. Mask up. My love to you all. Free Palestine!

Flashback Friday to this critter. Now that it is cooler in the studio I’ll ultimately be able to make more consistent progress on it. Beyond miles to go with this project, like others, but it will be a good outlet sculpture to give the brain a break from other, more challenging works. Challenging in terms of content, not structure or technicality.

Nothing of substance to add tonight. A couple of photos expand on a previous post and another details why folks need to be watching Ecuador as well as Brazil because of the overt tactics of far-right factions/regimes.

Expression and wardrobe changes to my Pierrot. The simplified ruffle is much better for these purposes than the more delicately detailed, more bulky version was. The expression change was really just to help bring a more horror-like visage to the final castings. I actually liked the more friendly version, but it was a bit too benevolent for the real purpose of the castings.

Yesterday I mentioned the reality that the IOF trains American murder pigs and that the tactics used manifest in both parts of the world. This was specifically in deference to the murder of one-year old Kohen Wiley. Today in the West Bank we had the duplicate incident happen with the murder of Sam Abu Haikal. Both murders happen with impunity and are fully excused by the state. Both murders are in the name of capital and white supremacy. These are going to continue to happen until they are physically stopped. The same goes with ICE raids and kidnappings. They don’t stop until they are stopped.

Another note, the conditions in Adelanto are worsening by the day. UV lights installed during COVID to disinfect are now being used counter to their purpose. They are designed for 1-2 hours of use at a time with no human contact unless the person involved is wearing serious PPE. Now, the same lights, which can cause cancers are being run 24 hours a day and are literally cooking those in detention there. A few whistleblowers have gotten the message out, but we need to be pressuring the local officials and anybody with any power to end this murder in slow motion. Modern Nazis don’t need ovens when they have these lights in facilities where they are keeping prisoners. Smokeless and undetectable from the outside. It is another form of deadly torture.

Be good to each other and check on each other often. Continue your actions and education. Escalate however possible. Build your community and get creative. Stay healthy and hydrated. Mask up. My love to you all. Free Palestine!

There is no excuse anywhere in the world that justifies a pig shooting a one-year old. Ever. Nina Simone was right when she wrote “Mississippi Goddamn.” When people have told me that Palestine is not a domestic issue I always point out that the IOF trains American murder pigs. Shooting infants for sport is not an uncommon pastime for the IOF in Occupied Palestine and the excuses are always either “accident” or justified because the child would grow up to be a terrorist. Either way, just like with one-year old Kohen Wiley, there is no justification for the action. Even if Kohen’s mother had actually committed a crime, which she didn’t. Still no justification to kill a child and injure his mother.

When is the Black body count high enough to anger white people who disavow racism so they’ll take action against white supremacy? It’s maddening trying to get people to wake up and spring into any kind of real action. Privilege is a hell of an incentive to stay blind. The ultimate problem with that is the blinders stay permanently affixed and when the murder which has been allowed on foreign shores and in non-white residences has run out of victims, the selfsame murder will turn inward and continue to contract the circle of what is an acceptable skin tone, whatever form of supremacy is being fomented at that time.

All of this is because the South was handled with kid gloves during Reconstruction. Racists were rewarded with money and political power instead of fully punished and having their lives and fortunes ended. The rules of politicking were bend to coddle these atrocity-laden people in defense of capital/usury instead of working to heal and revitalize the lives of those who were used as capital and traded as numbers on a ledger. All of this has to change. The sooner the better.

Justice for Kohen Wiley!
