I bought my first pair of shoes with ten cents I’d saved over time. 🪙

No one to impress but your younger self.
And no one to answer to but your future self.

Will the future version of you be thankful? 🤔
Or will he be disappointed by the situation you left him in?

Every choice you make today becomes a lesson, a blessing, or a consequence tomorrow.

Working a minimum wage job 7 days a week felt like I was getting ahead 🔝

…until I searched how long it would actually take to make a million dollars.

Scenario 1 – Full Time (40 hrs/week):
$23.50/hr × 40 = $940/week → $48,880/year (before tax)
After tax? About $42,480/year take-home.
$1,000,000 ÷ $42,480 = 23.5 years

That’s if you don’t spend a single f* dollar.
Save every cent, for nearly 24 years straight.

I’d be 45 by then.
F*ck that.

The cost of not locking in… is spending the rest of your life clocking in.

I fell in love with planning the future more than planning the weekend.

Where do you see yourself in 2 years?
Have you even thought that far,
or are you just drifting, letting life decide for you?

Fuck the 9–5.
Fuck waking up early to make another person rich.
Fuck living paycheck to paycheck.
Fuck waiting for Friday just to waste Saturday.
Fuck being told when to clock in, when to clock out, when to eat, when to sleep.

This is the grind.
This is the hustle.
Every move I make stacks towards freedom.

PAY THE PRICE OF REGRET OR PAY THE PRICE OF DCA FOREVER.

REGRET will strip you of PEACE and leave you wishing you STARTED sooner.

DCA demands DISCIPLINE, but every payment builds your FREEDOM.

One keeps you STUCK, the other sets you FREE.

I’d be lying if I said the thought of going home back never crossed my mind.

There are days when it feels easier to just give in, to run back to what’s familiar.

But deep down, I know what’s waiting there, the same cycle, the same mistakes, the same version of me I fought so hard to leave behind.

I didn’t come this far to go back to square one.

Falling is temporary, but getting back up is forever.

Every setback is just fuel for my comeback 🇳🇿

Success isn’t owned, it’s rented.
And the rent is due every single day.

Every dollar I save is a down payment on my freedom.

Every hustle I build is another brick in the foundation of the life I’m creating.

Every risk I take is rent paid toward the day I wake up and my time is fully mine.

I’m not chasing luxury, I’m chasing freedom.

I don’t want to just survive, I want to live on my own terms, with nothing to answer to but my own dreams.

That’s why I show up daily.
That’s why I grind now.
Because rent will always be due, and I plan to pay it in full.
