Earth, Grit & Flesh.
This project might be my most vulnerable one.
How does one properly articulate thoughts around a project that is so special to them? I could tell you about how cowboys were historically marginalized as underdogs, or how they are the embodiment of resilience and quiet strength.

However, in these series of photos, I wanted to (re)imagine the theme of queer cowboys and how they can tell stories of trans love and liberation.

Photography has always brought me so much joy, but I do not take that joy lightly. This project, featuring two Toishanese cowboys (+ Gray) has allowed me to express queer joy in a form of media that I feel most fluent in. So much love and care went into this project & I give every ounce of gratitude in my bones towards my lovely friends for helping this come to life.

Sharing this in honour of the lovely Genesis (@exclusivelygenesis)'s birthday 🌟

This photo series may be different from my usual works, but I want it to set a new tone for my approach to art. I want my art to be grounded in stories that hold meaning to me; this project is one of them. I owe it to Vancouver drag performers for enlightening me and painting a picture of how I can be comfortable in my own skin. And, for that, drag will always hold a special place in my heart.

Such a joy to capture you, thank you for your trust ❤️

It is such a divine gift to have my photography transformed into physical format. The craftsmanship and details on the 14x10 baltic birch with oak accents is even more lovely to witness in person, all thanks to my lovely friend, Sonya.

The Pacific Northwest
A small recollection from my trip to Bowen Island with beloved friends. A little different from my usual photoshoots, slightly more personal, but nonetheless a lovely & memorable wrap to summer '26.

Shadow Garden
The August sun has been so gentle. The colours on film photography appears the most rich when taken in the sun and I've always loved how it allows me to encapsulate the way I see my friends so tenderly. I'm deeply thankful to be able to capture Reiana's essence once again, thank you.

Photographed on an experimental roll I picked up in Barcelona from @dubblelab with an Olympus Pen-FT.
