Fourth at Nationals‼️

Fourth is always a tough one. Being that close to the podium and walking away without a medal never feels good.

But somehow, it’s in these losses where I find myself learning the most. There are so many thoughts and emotions running through my head right now, and I’m still processing everything this tournament brought with it.

As hard as it is, I’m grateful for this game. Grateful for the opportunities, the people, the highs, the lows, and all the lessons along the way.

This game has given me so much — and somehow, it continues to teach me every time I step on the court.

Back to work. 🤍 by @rouzbeh2000

Provincial Champions‼️🏆

These moments are incredible, but they’re built on countless hours that nobody ever sees.

A huge thank you to everyone behind the scenes who helped make this possible—my coaches, teammates, family, friends, training partners, medical staff, and everyone who supported me along the way. Those are the people who are there and show up on the hard days when you aren’t winning ♥️

A special thank you to @ova_updates for putting together another great event, and to my partner @robertkemp_ for battling with me all weekend. Couldn’t have asked for a better teammate. I feel truly blessed to play with my brother I’ve known for over 12 years now.

The last couple of months haven’t been easy. Between injuries, a few tough losses, and some major changes in my personal life, there were definitely moments that tested me. This weekend was a reminder that staying consistent and trusting the process always pays off.

Grateful for this one. Back to work to prepare for Nationals💪🏽🏐 by @rouzbeh2000

It was such an honour to be recognized inside of parliament by @michaelparsa for representing Team Canada!!

I want to thank my mother who has always been my biggest supporter and pushed me to pursue this dream!

Also big thanks to @homavball, who was my first coach here and does so much to grow volleyball in the Canadian/Persian community.

This is just the start of many more great things to come and I appreciate everyone who has been apart of this journey ❤️ by @rouzbeh2000

From sitting on the reserve list to playing our first Elite16 qualifier at home in Montreal — what a week. 🇨🇦

After a tough 4th-place finish at Nationals, we drove to MTL not even knowing if we’d make it into the tournament. Somehow, we got our chance.

Obviously, we wanted more, and it’s tough knowing we couldn’t come away with the win. But getting to compete at this level and share the court with some of the best teams in the world was a pretty surreal experience.

More than anything, I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve put in to get here. And watching two of my teammates, @steven_abrams and @cam.chadwick, qualify made the whole experience feel like a win in itself. ❤️

Grateful for the opportunity, grateful for the people around me, and hungry for what’s next.

Now… time for a week off at one of my favourite places in the world — Camp Madawaska. 🌲 by @rouzbeh2000

Fun weekend in California playing the @hermosabeachvbopen ‼️

Mixed emotions leaving Hermosa. Grateful for the experience and qualifying in my first time playing this legendary tournament, but definitely left wanting more after going 0-2 in the Main Draw.

The season is slowly coming to an end and Im really just trying to enjoy the journey and every moment that comes with it.

Back in California for @thesantabarbaraopen in a couple of weeks :)

$A place that played a pretty important role in my volleyball journey. I’ve been lucky enough to come back here and coach for a number of years now, and every time I do, I’m reminded of what I love about this sport and all the people that were involved in my journey to being where I am today. I love getting to work with the new generation of athletes and see their childlike curiosity and passion. I always try to connect with every kid I see and make just a fraction of the impact that this place made on me. by @rouzbeh2000$
