Appreciation post! I don't give credit to my best friends enough.

Don't let this discourage you from applying to be my best friend. It's just that these kids have had a special slot in my heart since the worst days of my life. It's been a joy to watch these cousins grow and to spend time with them, even if they do run me ragged. I only wished I got to know and appreciated them better when I was younger, but I like to think I still have all our lives to do that.

Love you guys. Miss y'all already. Proud of y'all. by @rowanc404

The book launched yesterday, and I was so busy I had no time to promote it, but here it is.

My debut is featured amongst works of amazing writers of Malaysia - fantastic fiction flavorful with fantasies. Mine's called Taxation, and maybe for some, just like actual taxation, it may not be your cup of tea. But give me a chance, and I'll take you through a story of fantasy and magical logistics, based on my original creation.

It's safe to say the world of Auglaro has been years in the making, and this is just one spinoff of my long term ambition. I'm honored to have this debut to introduce Auglaro to the world and I'll keep going to push its stories out to the world.

And keep a look out for other writers - all of them are impressive creatives in their own right, and many of them have blown me away with concepts and storylines that had me flipping each page on and on.

I'm so excited to get this show on the road.

So check this out: I wrote a short story. It's going into a short story anthology. And this is the cover A Spoonful of Malaysian Magic: An Anthology.

A burong descends from Tansang Kenyalang in the midst of a dire catastrophe. A shapeshifter frees Kedah from the dreaded Raja Bersiong only to uncover a darker secret. A woman learns to channel her family’s food magic. A young huntress of supernatural creatures charts her own path of love.

This anthology of short stories offers fresh takes on Malaysian folklore and fairy tales, adds enchantment to the ordinary, and bursts with new, wonderful flavours. Stir a little spoonful of magic into your tea, whether you’re from these shores or from far away.

Featuring 12 amazing fantasy short stories by Collin Yeoh · Hamizah Adzmi · Ilnaz A. Faizal · Ismim Putera · Joni Chng (@jonichng) · Joshua Lim · Julia Alba · Rowan C (I'm untagged for reasons but follow me anyways LMAO)· Sharmilla Ganesan (@sharmillag) · Stuart Danker (@storystuey) · Syazwani Jefferdin · Zufar Zeid (@zufzeid)

Featuring also our fantastic cover by Amita Sevellaraja (@volapardus on IG and Twitter)!

Add the anthology to Goodreads and preorder your copy now! (Additional links to come!)

Hey, kid. Got something I wanna tell you.

You're not weird for loving skirts and dresses. You're not weird for preferring the company of girls. You're not weird for feeling that you're not at home with the boys. I'm sorry the world has made you feel that way, that even your body goes against you.

Hang in there. It's a long journey, and you might not find it safe to tell your parents, even when you get to where I'm at. You'll hate yourself a lot, that's easy to learn. But you'll get to know yourself better and be able to live the way you want. And on the way, you'll learn how to appreciate yourself too, and maybe even love yourself.

I'm sorry I can't travel back in time to be the big sister you've always wanted. I remember feeling all alone in the world too. If I could go back, I would. But I know you got this. Look where we are now. This, and more to come, is all for you.

I've gotten so much freedom of expression since moving out, and I'm really enjoying it. Also NOT MY CAR

Felt good and thirsty. This is officially a cry for help (and a post for thigh high love) also debating if I should be sponsored by @uniqlo for this lovely top (I currently am not. That can change)

More new truths about myself. Transfem, she/they (I never made an official announcement, did I? Or do people not do that? Is it annoying?) Swipe to check out old pics I guess, ones that I thought looked good.

When your brain comes up with too damn many captions (short hair but still fem, mask blocks big pimple, black attire is in tonight, mah choker) so you decide to fuck it and mention all of them. PS: anyone who recognises my crop top, y'all the real OGs.

Hey, never let it be said I can't rock short hair looks as well. Bonus pic at the end for a smoulder as I attempt to show a 3 year old mistake translated onto a 21 year old face. Pro-tip: never shave your eyebrows, baby Ming. #masc #mask #punsfordays #syoksendiri #slightfade #newcut #smoulder #genderfluid by @rowanc404
