More from 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚 for @Hube.Magazine with @AminBidar - A look at societal conditioning, and its subliminal impact on the soul.

I’ve always been interested in the space between authenticity and performance.. what we show and what we hide, and where that comes from. Amin’s pieces remind me of this with structured outer human shells, that fragment to something more alive within.

Excited to share 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚 in collaboration with my friend @AminBidar for @Hube.Magazine. An overlap of our fascination with the human experience at both its most expressed, and most suppressed.

When planning this, we spoke about how little of our emotional reality is actually visible in spaces that prioritize high functionality, respectability, and success. In almost all social and public environments, especially corporate ones, masking becomes necessary in order to thrive, survive, and progress, while emotions such as stress, doubt, anger, depression, and private adversities are hidden out of sight.

The result is a society of individuals who appear outwardly capable and thriving, yet increasingly detached underneath..

This was a challenging, exciting, and refreshing series to work on. Thank you to Hube Magazine for the platform, and for publishing our conversation alongside it!
