Sorry… What?! We made the ITV Evening News! 🎬📺❤️

What an incredible achievement for our independent film, Due Dating! 🥹

A huge thank you to the wonderful Carolyn Sim for such a lovely interview and for shining a spotlight on our film.

I honestly couldn’t believe how much footage from the film was featured! Seeing so many of our brilliant cast on national television was such a proud moment. ❤️

Independent filmmaking takes an enormous amount of hard work, determination and belief, so to see Due Dating getting this kind of recognition means the absolute world.

So proud of our entire team and so grateful that our story is being seen and celebrated.

Even more for us to celebrate on Monday🥂✨

We thought making a pirate film would be all swashbuckling at sunset and looking hot and badass… in reality it was carrying heavy shit down a beach, hiding from storms in sea caves, fighting the tide with a 3 hour shooting window each day and finding sand EVERYWHERE (we mean everywhere) at the end of each day. But we wouldn’t change it for the world 🏴‍☠️🌊⚔️…

Tavern brawls, pirate shenanigans and landlubbers at the Kings Shilling 🍻🏴‍☠️ That’s a wrap on block 2 of Dead Man’s Watch and what an insane and amazing three days we had at @avoncroftmuseum

Thank you to our incredible cast and crew and everyone who came out to be our tavern folk! We couldn’t have pulled this off without each and every one of you 🫡

Now… off to Cornwall for our final few days of pirating! 🏴‍☠️

CREW GOALS 🏴‍☠️🌊 A moment for our incredible crew and cast who we couldn’t have set sail without! The talent, professionalism, enthusiasm and hard work that took place in the face of some pretty crazy conditions was so remarkable to witness. Saluting you all and we are so excited for the rest of the shoot and to be sharing this adventure with this bunch of pirates 🫡

(Not pictured, @dalanobarnes one of our directors, as he was taking this fabulous photo)

And thank you to @theislandtrust crew and @trail.and.tide for keeping the sails billowing and the compass steady and for dressing up as pirates to bring our pirate ship to life!
