On September 6, KERN has been invited by @byob.plug.and.play to present our very first immersive installation: 2OG04.

An exploration of dark ecology through two audiovisual works, bringing together wood, light, sound, projection, 3D and film to explore the shifting relationships between humans, technology and nature.

Through our events, we explore how nature and technology entangle, using as a space for encounter as much as celebration.

For the past few months, we’ve been quietly building something new.

Born from friendship and a shared passion for art, music and culture, we’re proud to introduce Kern.

Kern means core. A community, but also a vision: to grow, connect and create together.

A multidisciplinary platform bringing art, and audiovisual together around ecology, our planet and the challenges of tomorrow.

A space to experiment, collaborate and grow. by @roxane.sb

TOKYO DAY 1 - we spent the first evening walking around Akihabara. The light was amazing, and discovering these buildings at night really put us on vacation mode, making us realized the cultural gap. Insane! taken in Akihabara by @roxane.sb

TOKYO, Day 1: Morning adventures!
From the airport to the city, Mount Fuji stole the show! We dropped our bags at the hotel - hello humanoids! - and explored Asukasabashi, Kuramae, and Asakusa. We sipped coffee and devoured Black Sesame Basque Cheesecake at @marble_kuramae and tried random energy drinks at every Konbini to fight jet lag. Lunch was a spontaneous affair at @yamaka_sakaba, where we enjoyed our first Lemon Sours and fresh fishes/ seafood on a sunny terrace! taken in Asakusa 浅草 by @roxane.sb
