Another month, another collage club with @roxannabananas! We'll have a variety of surfaces for you to personalize with collage materials: journals, postcards, zines & more!

All levels of experience are welcome —collage is a craft for EVERYONE! ❤️✂️ Time permitting, we'll spend the last few minutes of the session doing a little optional show-and-tell of our creations with our new pals.

Tickets for Collage Club at The Collaboratory are all PAY WHAT YOU CAN with a sliding scale of Free99 to $20. Any donation you contribute when you sign up goes toward funding more free and low-cost arts programming in the space. 👾

TW: parental loss

The Late Earley. Gone too soon - just shy of his 67th turn around the sun (we celebrated it a little early this year) my father Steve Earley is now hard at work becoming the waves and the birds and the flowers.

He told those he loved often how much they meant to him, especially my siblings and I. We are shattered, torn apart.

To know him was to know that you always had an open invitation to his home. His greatest joy was right there in the chaotic din of a gathering. I hope the next party is a raucous one and he’s keeping the drinks cold for us all. by @roxannabananas

October ~ November ~ December

Quarter four was equal parts tough and tender, wonder and grief. I planted seeds, I danced, I laughed, I cried. I was held so tightly by my community, and through it all am excited for what comes next. It is a fruit ripening with untold possibilities.

Tomorrow is not promised. Though the way may be hard, the hope to journey on is the light in the dark.

I’m so excited for our new Mayor Elect, Zohran Mamdani! Congrats on an historic victory that means so so much to so many.

For the first time post election in a long while, I’m feeling very inspired, proud, and hopeful.

Let’s keep building a city for everyone, with everyone. Community over competition. People over profit.

July ~ August ~ September 2025

The last three months have been so heavy and also so beautiful - full of abundant fruit, adventure, joy, rest, and belly laughs. My life has been a kaleidoscope of possibility, kindness, and community. Despite the grief and weight of many things, I still find myself taken aback with delight, and seeking to imagine and create new and better futures.

April ~ May ~ June 2025

The end of Q2 feels like waking up. This quarter taught me the importance of choosing myself, of being the one to seek what I want and need. I made the difficult decision to resign from my job to begin building my next chapter, and I’m paying very close attention to what this moment feels like. To walk away from something I built and am so very proud of in order to seek what sustains me. It is scary, and inspiring, and exciting. It is full of possibility and craving. It feels like reconnecting with old friends and going on silly adventures, it feels like the hope of a new future for my beloved New York City, it feels like the warmth of dear friends and family during a time when I needed their love and support more than ever. Over the past three months, I’ve tried many new things, made a ton of art, said yes to myself - to purple hair and long naps and adventure, and discovered a deep well of strength and pride.

I’m looking forward to what comes next. by @roxannabananas
