My debut album is out today. It’s called “Made” which is a word that has a lot of meanings and can be used in a lot of different contexts. But today, I want to focus on “Made” in the context of celebrating those who made this record possible.

It’s hard to articulate how much this record means to me without saying too much or blatantly oversimplifying. But simply put, @massimooch , @marsfromdablock and Alex are geniuses, and I am so delighted to share an album that came together with everyone’s touch on it, and I felt myself float out of my body the whole time making this album in the most exhilarating way possible. It’s all worth it just to be able to have made this together. Cannot thank them enough 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

It’s also hard to describe how amazing recording at @studio_mixart felt. That studio has such an inspiring aura and the 6 days we spent tracking these 12 songs were among the best days of my life. Thank you so much Boris!

Thank you so much to Jack Shirley @_the_atomic_garden_ for mixing and mastering, it’s such an honour to have his touch on the record!

Thank you so much to @hellforbrkfast for giving us the opportunity to make this record.

Lastly, but certainly not least, I want to thank my mom for letting me use her painting from when she was my age as the album cover. I found a photo of it and when I told her it spoke to me, she told me she painted it during a time of mid 20’s transition and uncertainty. That’s when I knew it HAD to become the cover. And thank you so much to my dad too of course!

It’s out everywhere you stream music xoxo🤎 There will definitely be a physical release sometime in the near future too if you’re into that!

My album ‘Made’ is out next Friday. Here are a few images of things inspired me during my writing process:

1. Banal industrial areas. Love this photo of me on Polaroid by @julia.de.fazio
2. A fair I saw in the middle of nowhere when I was on a greyhound to New York in 2023.
3. Mick Kelly, especially the part when she has a headache cause she keeps getting hit in the head with basketballs as she’s practicing on the school gym piano during after school basketball practice
4. The fortune teller at Marché aux Puces St-Martin. Thought this was something I invented based on vague memory but i found myself in the area recently and can confirm it’s real.
5. These balloons are the color of ‘Made’
6. The texture under the overpass and on top of the underpass!
7. The suit that Paul Westerberg is wearing when he performed ‘Let the Bad Times Roll’ on Jay Leno in 2002
8. The Uggs I was wearing in the studio
9. Finding feathers everywhere but especially the fact that there are so many feathers on the Metro Cartier stairs.
