My own version of Yin and Yang.
Opposites circling the same centre.
Darkness, light, tension, balance.

Painted live during an event organised by @allisone_jam and @underdog_day — thank you both for inviting me to be part of it and for creating such a beautiful day around art and community.

The works were auctioned to raise funds for @silenzio.invisibili.como, supporting their work rescuing stray dogs.

This image is political to me.
A burning church is not just dark imagery, nor provocation for its own sake. To me, it represents the rejection of dogma, religious authority and patriarchal morality when they are imposed on other people’s lives and bodies.
Faith is a personal choice. It stops being personal when it becomes law, control, shame, censorship, or an excuse to take rights and freedom away from someone else.
I have spent most of my life defending this idea, and I still believe it without compromise:
no religion should have power over a body, a life or a freedom that does not belong to it.

Some projects grow over time.
The columns were already there, fully healed. Lion and skull added later, shaped around his anatomy to close the thigh.

Qualche giorno fa ci siamo dimenticati di un compleanno.

Per la prima volta in nove anni, il 20 luglio è passato senza che ce ne accorgessimo.

Ce ne siamo resi conto solo qualche giorno dopo.

All’inizio ci è sembrato quasi un dispiacere.

Poi abbiamo capito che, forse, racconta perfettamente questo ultimo anno.

Ci sono anni in cui si festeggia.

E ci sono anni in cui si continua semplicemente a costruire.

Anni in cui il tempo viene assorbito dal lavoro quotidiano, dalle decisioni difficili, dai cambiamenti, dalle responsabilità e da tutto quello che succede dietro una porta che, vista da fuori, sembra sempre la stessa.

Quest’anno è stato uno di quegli anni.

Non è stato un anno semplice.

È stato un anno che ci ha costretti a rimettere in discussione molte cose, a ricostruirne altre e, soprattutto, a ricordarci ogni giorno perché Black Swan esiste.

Perché Black Swan non è mai stato soltanto uno studio di tatuaggi.

In questi nove anni ha cambiato casa, è cresciuto, si è trasformato. Ma non ha mai cambiato il motivo per cui esiste.

È un luogo nato per dare spazio alle idee, alla ricerca, all’arte e alle persone.

Un luogo in cui si tatua, si disegna, si organizzano mostre, si incontrano artisti, si condividono visioni e, a volte, si trova semplicemente un posto in cui sentirsi accolti.

Forse la parola che racconta meglio questi nove anni è Resistenza.

Non quella dei grandi gesti.

Quella quotidiana.

Silenziosa.

Quella che significa continuare a credere in un progetto anche quando sarebbe più semplice fare diversamente.

Se in questi nove anni Black Swan è diventato, anche solo per qualcuno, un piccolo punto di resistenza, un luogo sicuro, uno spazio in cui sentirsi liberi di essere sé stessi, allora tutto questo ha avuto un senso.

Per questo oggi non vogliamo festeggiare soltanto un anniversario.

It waited for the right body, like all nocturnal things do 🩸🩸🩸

Chosen from one of my available flashes,
then adapted to her form so it could truly belong there.

I love when a piece starts from something already alive in my world,
and finds its final shape through trust.

🩸Discomfort, can you truly face yourself?🩸

This piece was created for Ink-Spired, the exhibition we hold each year at @black.swan_tattoo

It began from a discomfort directed outward,
toward the violence, hypocrisy and cruelty that shape so much of the world around us.

But while I was working on it, that feeling moved closer.
It became more intimate, more personal.

So this drawing became a question about conscience, truth and self-confrontation.
About the moment when something cracks,
and you can no longer look away from what is really there.

Ink and dip pen on 300gsm Arches paper, September 2025

Ogni tatuaggio che realizzo nasce da ascolto, ricerca e tempo.

Non invio la bozza prima dell’appuntamento, perché preferisco costruire e mostrare il progetto nel suo contesto, quando può essere davvero visto, capito e adattato sul corpo.

In alcuni casi, però, la bozza viene vista prima e provata sul corpo: succede soprattutto nei cover up o nei lavori più grandi, che si muovono sul corpo e hanno bisogno di essere valutati insieme in presenza.

Per me disegnare non significa fare in fretta.
Significa trovare la forma giusta, nel momento giusto.

I lavori migliori, quasi sempre, nascono così:
da fiducia, visione condivisa e spazio creativo.

Se senti che questo modo di lavorare ti appartiene, possiamo costruire qualcosa di bello insieme.

Something a little different from my usual work on skin 🖤

Yesterday I took part in INK ON SOLE, an event organized by my friend @andreapheet at @mrjam_lecce 🤍

Different artists customized a pair of all white @vans_europe shoes and every pair became part of a lottery.

100% of the ticket sales was donated to Korunera, an association that works for animals and their freedom and dignity.

This was my contribution.
Really happy to have been part of something like this 🤍

And happy these ended up with @23galeno 🤗 taken in Lecce, Italy by @roxhell_ttt

Some things don’t arrive from nowhere.
They stay inside for years,
quietly,
until they start asking for a clearer form.

Lately I’ve been trying to make space for a darker, more structural part of my language —
through painting, studies, design and skin.

It still feels incomplete,
but not unfamiliar.
More like a return than a beginning.

I don’t have all the time I wish I had to go deeper into it,
but I’m trying to rebuild myself there,
piece by piece.

These are some fragments of that process.
