My birthday cuts the year in half which allows me to look at where I have been and look to where I can go. This year it falls on the actual day I was born, Wednesday. This birthday marks the end of one life journey and the start of a new path.
To say I am blessed does not begin to describe my life so far, many lessons, with more on the way.
I continue to be eternally grateful as I Live, Love and Laugh. #roxenesjourney #roxindabox by @roxindabox

2026 is the year of the Horse. I love horses, grew up around them thanks to my father.
For me 2026 is a time for decisive action, pursuing goals with enthusiasm, embracing social connections, and making bold moves. Horses are symbols of speed and courage, I am open for spiritual, personal and professional growth. Saddle up 2026, I am ready for the journey. by @roxindabox

It was an honor and such a pleasure to be asked to interview Susan on 20 years of the Susan Show. Having a front row seat to see her and the show evolve over the years has been an awesome blessing. The connections Susan has made happen and lives she has touched have been heartwarming. Keep being a good neighbour Susan, I am in your corner always. #thesusanshow #dogoodinyourneighborhood #friendsforlife by @roxindabox

Legacy Honoured. Future Inspired. 💛💙

On September 12, the Vaz Prep family came home. We celebrated in a sold-out ballroom at the AC Hotel by Marriott, gave a standing ovation to Mrs. Beverley Ulett, one of our first three students and Principal for more than three decades, and brought together generations of graduates in their house colors under one roof.

An evening of unforgettable voices:

🎤 MCs: Captain Roxene Nickle, JP & DJ Bambino @bambinomusik
🙏🏾 Opening Prayer: Dr. Errol Miller
💛 Welcome: Peter Richardson, Alumni President
🏫 Greetings: Grace Royal Bassaragh, Vaz Prep Board Chairman
🌹 Tribute to Mrs. Hazel Vaz: Paulette Ulett, the founder's daughter and one of the original first three students
🥇 Honouring Mrs. Ulett: four-time Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross
🇯🇲 Diplomatic Greetings: Ambassador Franz Hall
🎙️ Keynote: Ambassador Lloyd Carney, CD
✨ Reflections: Dr. Renée A. Rattray

Giving has always been the Vaz way. Mrs. Vaz herself provided scholarships so missionary children could attend at no cost. Today that legacy continues: Dr. Conway Edwards supports scholarships for missionary students, and our alumni sponsored gala seats so our longest-serving teachers could celebrate as guests of honour.

Thank you to every guest, honoree, teacher, and volunteer. Special thanks to our sponsors: @maineventja,@neveast ,@edgemarketingsolutions,@sagicorja ,@islandgrill, @wwforkids,@72_50km , @jemarprintery, @cancaraltd,@vmfoundationlimited,@shotelkingstonjm,@bestdressedja,@seankontractor, @misstskitchen,Barlig Investment Company Ltd, @tanya.dacosta , Labels & Supplies Centre Limited, Premier Land & Water Development, Dr. LeRoiStephen, It's Electric Jamaica, and @couplesresorts . The Vaz network truly showed up for its own.

The celebration concludes; the mission continues. Support our Scholarship, Solar Energy, and Bridging the Digital Divide campaigns at vpsalumni.org.
