Hyrox World Champs qualified for a second season!
Not my fastest race - but by far the one I’m most proud of.
I had to overcome some big mental & physical hurdles to get that win!

2nd consecutive World Champs qualified.
5th Age Division Win!
6th consecutive solo podium finish. (Excluding Worlds)
9th podium in 18-month!

Shoutout to @lukiedamen & @marzena_grabiec for smashing their own PB’s & being the ultimate support crew.
There’s no way I would have made the start line - let alone pulled off the win without them! 🏆

WHAT A SEASON OPENER! 🤩

HYROX Bordeaux - 1:11:01 and 1st 🥇

Goal was simple: open the season to test what we worked on during the off season. And OMG the body & mind delivered.

Time wasn’t the objective (although a cheeky 4’ PB on my Worlds time!).

We wanted easy things:
- mental resilience was on point. No walking, run from each stations ✅
- ability to follow a plan. Pace on ergs. Unbroken FC and lunges ✅
- PB on WBs by ONE minute ✅

Thank you @becmasonpt for preparing me for this race and the new season. Sky’s the limit!!! Team @prvnfitness will own the podiums.

Geared by the fabulous @pumatraining team and love my new puppies. Gayest outfit I’ve ever worn and loving it!

BECAUSE WE’RE WORTH IT. 🤩

For a long time I wouldn’t accept that I was, in fact, an athlete. That I deserved a coach, protein powder or well-deserved rest. I don’t have the body of a TV ready pro athlete.

Then it came to me - as soon as we step foot on that start line, we’re part of the top 0.0002% of our crazy planet. We are athletes. We belong.

Walk. Run. Wheel. Hop. Crawl.
Time doesn’t matter.

COMPLETING is as strong as COMPETING. ❤️‍🔥

As the 26/27 Season starts, remind yourself that you do not need to be fit / strong / ready to take part.
It only starts with one step. TAKE IT! ⚡️

Hi my name’s James.
I’m a Hyrox speciality coach & Age Division World Championship athlete.
Last year I competed in 12 races across Pro & Open divisions.
I set 10 new Personal Bests, won 4 age division races, had 8 podiums (+ 2x 4th place finishes) & raced at the World Championships in Stockholm.

On top of my professional qualifications I also ‘studied’ the sport inside and out for my own pleasure, as a fan, as a coach, and as a competitor.

Now I’m going to share all the knowledge I’ve learned:
1. From my own personal experiences racing.
2. From my science backed studies
3. From all the elites & experts I’ve listened to.

I’ve handpicked what I believe to be the most valuable bits of information and crammed it into a one-off 90 minutes masterclass to help competitors of all experience & ability improve at Hyrox.

The Workshop will take place at Military Fitness London, Sunday September 20th at 11:30am. (Next to Wandsworth Station).
(With options to train in the @mflondon_fitness Hyrox class beforehand).

PRIDE 🏳️‍🌈

This is what it means to me.

Being free to kiss the man I love on the biggest public stage in the world; not feeling afraid or judged.

Showing the world that love is love and it’s okay to be gay.

To fly the rainbow flag and be proud of what it means.

There is still a long way to go and Pride is just not one day of the year, we fight all year round.

What happens when you dream big and work hard for it? 🤔

THIS 🥇🌎

HYROX Worlds Championships in Stockholm - you weren’t planned. You were a floating dream I was running after on the treadmill. The “What If” place my mind wandered to while training. A crazy dream only fools have.

Representing @hyrox.france @hyrox_deaf_community @roxproud @prvnfitness was more than little me could hope for. I’ve never been part of a team. Always picked last. So this means the world. 🫶🏻

Thank you @becmasonpt for believing in me when I didn’t. For being the method to my madness, for making sense of this mess 🚀

@ggillatt the world can be a scary place but I’ll always feel safe with you. I love you ❤️
