4 years ago, not long after giving birth to my little girl Rumi, I started working again from my mum’s dining room. After owning my own hair, beauty & aesthetics salon for nearly 5 years and having my own flat, life looked completely different to how I ever imagined.

At the time, I honestly had no idea what direction my life was going to go in. I just knew I wanted to hold onto my regular clients, keep pushing forward, and start bringing in some income again while adjusting to being a new mum.

Looking back now, I can’t believe how much has changed in just 4 years. Facebook memories really put things into perspective sometimes. The hard times, the rebuilding, the uncertainty… it all led me here.

Today, I feel genuinely grateful and proud of how far I’ve come. I never imagined I’d have my own salon again while also being able to be present at home with my two young kids.

Life can humble you at times, but you really do just have to keep going. Everything can change before you even realise it. 🙏🏽❤️

✨ A little catch-up, a new salon tour & a gorgeous hair transformation! 🤍🥂

My lovely friend Rachael came up from London and booked in for some hair TLC, getting to see my new salon and home all in one visit! 🏡✨

We transformed her very warm permanent roots into a beautiful full-head dimensional blonde, finished with a soft root tap to create a seamless blend and make that grow-out feel effortless. 🤍✨

We also added a fresh cut and re-style to complete her new look! ✂️💫

The perfect blend of brightness, dimension and softness for that lived-in blonde we all love! 😍🫶🏼
