Berlin is a beautiful city to visit and the history of the Berlin Wall shall not be forgotten, the wall was a guarded concrete barrier that divided the city west Berlin from east Berlin from August 13, 1961, until November 9, 1989 that was built by the communist East Germany that represented the symbol of the Cold War and the split between communist and capitalist countries. During that time span the wall was around 27 miles through the city, with a wider ring of 104 miles enclosing West Berlin. The reason of the wall was to prevent people from escaping East Germany into West Berlin, the middle area had watchtowers, landmines, and armed guards, and it is known at least 140 people died trying to cross over the barrier into West Berlin. Today you can visited portions of the wall and see art/graffitiing on the wall which became a popular tourist destination to see. Only the West Berlin side of the wall had artwork, as citizens of East Berlin were not allowed to get close enough to the wall to paint on it. A lots of misinterpretations that US President Ronald Reagan help but did not physically open or tear down the Berlin Wall, but his 1987 rhetoric and long-term anti-communist policies contributed to the political pressure that led to its fall, he did challenged Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev with saying Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall. by @royalbassing

The main structures of the market are five pavilions constructed by reusing old German Zeppelin hangars (built in 1916 by the German Imperial Navy in Vaiņode, the iron-and-steel frames were meant for military airships)which has over 3,000 trade stands inside not including what outside. Inside you can find halls dedicated to fresh produce, meats, dairy, and an iconic fish pavilion featuring local smoked fish and eels and outside is loaded with numerous produce stands and flowers stands. Visit the Stockholm City Hall in Sweden, was amazing site to see with several weddings celebrating ongoing, these type of weddings are civil weddings ceremonies without religious elements and are conducted by special registrars. The city hall was built between 1911 and 1923 and designed by the architect Ragnar Östberg, built with eight million dark red bricks, giving the building a striking and warm silhouette on the waterfront. The Blue Hall hosts is where the main dinner are held for the Nobel Prize banquet each December. The Golden Hall has around 18 million mosaic pieces made of gold and glass, serving as the dance floor during the Nobel celebrations which make this one of the most popular places to visit in Stockholm. by @royalbassing

Lindamägi Park better known as Linda’s Hill Park is a historic public park in Tallinn, Estonia on Toompea Hill and was the site of a former 17th-century Swedish military bastion. On August 20, 1991, Estonians used large boulders and rocks to build emergency barricades around Toompea Hill to protect the Estonian parliament and government buildings from advancing Soviet military tanks and troops. With the locals shields and stone barricades held kept the Soviet troops away. The coup in Moscow collapsed due to counter-resistance led by Boris Yeltsin which resulted with the Soviet troops retreated without major bloodshed. The Estonia’s Supreme Council bravely voted to officially declare the restoration of Estonian independence from the power of Soviet rule. by @royalbassing

Visited the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral which is a Eastern Orthodox church in Tallinn Estonia 🇪🇪, built onto the Toompea hill in central city of Tallinn that was design by architect Mikhail Preobrazhensky as a typical Russian Revival style from 1894 and finished in 1900. Many of the Estonians locals disliked the Cathedral since is reminded as a symbol of former Russian oppression since the Soviet regime was officially non-religious, many churches including the cathedral were left to fall into disrepair. The building and its interior have been meticulously restored since Estonia regained full independence in 1991. by @royalbassing

St. Nikolai Memorial in Hamburg, Germany 🇩🇪 is a 19th-century Gothic Revival church destroyed during Allied air raids in 1943. It original chapel was a wooden building completed in 1195, replaced by to a brick church in the 14th century but was destroyed by fire in 1842. The church was completely rebuilt and finished in 1874, and was the tallest building in the world from 1874 to 1876. The bombing of Hamburg in World War II destroyed the bulk of the church. The residents did a removal of the rubble which left only its crypt, its site and tall-spired tower, largely hollow save for a large set of bells. These ruins continue to serve as a memorial and an important architectural landmark to remind us what wars do. The tower of the Church of St. Nicholas as seen in my pictures served as a goal and orientation marker for pilots of the Allied Air Forces during the extensive air raids on Hamburg. On 28 July 1943 that resulted in the church damaged by aerial bombs. Definitely a site to visualize if you go to Hamburg Germany 🇩🇪. by @royalbassing
