Ten years.

Today marks 10 continuous years of sobriety. I don’t take that milestone lightly, and I know I didn’t get here by myself.

I’m not celebrating that I was strong enough to do this on my own. I’m celebrating that God gave me the strength to take the next step… and then another one.

First and foremost, thank You, God. My sobriety is ultimately a testimony to His grace, mercy, patience, and faithfulness. He carried me through days when I didn’t know how I was going to make it, and He brought restoration and new purpose to my life in ways I never could have imagined.

To my daily accountability partners… thank you for walking with me, telling me the truth when I needed to hear it, praying for me, encouraging me, and helping me stay accountable. I’m grateful for every conversation, every check-in, and every time you reminded me that I didn’t have to walk this road alone.

And to my family… thank you for loving me, supporting me, forgiving me, and walking alongside me through the good and the difficult. I’m deeply grateful for the life God has allowed us to build together.

Ten years ago, I needed help. Today, I want others to know that help is available, and there is hope.

I didn’t earn it and if you know my past, I DEFINITELY don’t deserve it, but God gave it to me anyway. What He gave me is salvation through Jesus Christ. I now have peace and hope for eternity!!
