Dear NCA&T, Four years ago, I took a leap of faith—a girl from Connecticut stepping into something completely new. Uncertain of the details, but certain it was the beginning of something special. Looking back now, I’d make that choice a thousand times over. This journey has shaped me in every way. The challenges didn’t break me — they built me. I discovered my voice, stepped into my strength, and found a home I didn’t know I was searching for.
But beyond the lessons and late nights, it was the people who made this place home. Friends who became family. Mentors who saw something in me before I saw it in myself. You filled these years with joy, laughter, accountability, and growth. The memories we made won’t fade—they’re etched into the foundation of who I’m becoming.
To NCA&T— thank you. Thank you for being the soil where my faith grew stronger, my dreams grew bolder, and my roots grew deeper. I leave this place full—not only with knowledge, but with grace, strength, and gratitude. You will always have a piece of my heart.

Dear A&T, a monument indeed… Thank you for the memories, the pride, and that Ole Aggie Spirit that lit up game day. From the voice of the announcer to the sound and power of the Blue and Gold Marching Machine. Cheering here was more than a sport, it was a true experience. In 24 hours, I’ll be graduating from the #1 HBCU in the nation.
All glory to God for opening doors and giving me the strength to finish strong.
Thank you to my amazing mom for always being there. Your love and support mean everything.
I’m proud to be joining the small but powerful group of Black women engineers, who make up only 1.6% of the people in the science and engineering sector in the U.S.
Thank you to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University for everything. Your guidance, community, and excellence have shaped me into the person I am today.
