Putting my heart on a line may just be a reoccurring loop of my purest adoration. My most accurate measure of love. This grandous risk. a risk that I need, that ill probably always yearn for. there's something invigorating about the risk to be vulnerable in the act of love-to walk right through it to know one will face some sort of disappointment some degree of rejection maybe even some induced delusion all to just to falter into something that may suck the truest of true out of you- without any sense of guarantee. None. But I refuse to be masked and you see the risk is part of the beauty. It's like it feeds the passion- the risk keeps it real,keeps it interesting keeps you engaged. what good is a heart if it never breaks wide open and spills it's mysterious insides out for another? what good is a heart if it never opens never breaks stays safe and enclosed in itself. Stiffening over time with the illusion of protection. So stiff that it becomes impenetrable.
What good is heart that never needs the line. As if that line isn't as powerful as the intertwining anatomy that makes it pump and beat. I find the more truthful and vulnerable I am the more empowered I feel. To be vulnerable is to be seen and to be seen is to connect. So this my friends is a depiction of how I love- with my heart on the line. Always and most likely forever. by @rozzygal
