Happy 11th birthday to my roll dawg, partner in crime, pokemon center expert, Wagyu yakiniku making pro and all around Japan guide, @matsonshouseparty
Thank you for helping us navigate our most recent adventure. From planning out the locations and stops to see, play and eat to getting us around the Japanese train network. It’s great having you as part of our family. Love you buddy. Hope it’s a great day. Even with the math test. Let’s get some Yakiniku or Korean BBQ. by @rpbess

I believe at this point I have spent a normal lifetime right next to this gent. Planes, trains, and automobiles kinda deal. We even tried to kill each other. Endless great times with RP. He has always been kind and respectful to my every stupid question I ask him. He was always on time to pick up for the carpool, and I was usually “running late”. If you can talk this guy into getting on a skateboard these days you are in for a good time. A great man, husband, and father. A true leader who always keeps in mind the good for all. One of the true warriors in the shadows that makes skateboarding what it is. His love for skateboarding runs true, and deep. If you ask him what he has done for skateboarding he would probably just blush, and avoid the question. The reality is far different. This man right here has helped to shape skateboarding over the last 30 some years. Not what you see in mass media, but in what you feel when you actually go skate. The fun in skateboarding. RP has documented the fun. Created the fun, and brought you the fun. So next time you step on your board and smile it’s partially due to all of RP’s hard work. If you see him out there in the wild, give him a hug. Welcome officially to the family my dude! by @rpbess
