This Independence Day weekend, as America celebrates 250 years of freedom, we’re honored to welcome a man who dedicated his life to defending it.

COL. (R) James Browning will serve as keynote speaker at the Miss All American Welcome Event aboard the USS Yorktown on July 15.

A graduate of The Citadel, Colonel Browning began his military career with the legendary 82nd Airborne Division, the All American Division, before leading soldiers in combat and serving our nation in senior leadership roles throughout a distinguished Army career spanning more than two decades. Today, he is a successful entrepreneur in Charleston and co-owner of Over The Horizon (@oth_charleston), where he continues to lead through business, community involvement, and support for fellow veterans.
