Track of the Day: SLICK — Victony.

The remix landed three days ago with Summer Walker and Don Toliver on it. Already in the library.

The original spent three straight weeks at number one in Nigeria — his first solo chart-topper at home — and held number two on Billboard’s US Afrobeats chart for three weeks.

Name this party.

The comments are already going:

→ Coachella, No Wristband → Todayland → Powerstrip Palooza → Zero Barrier Festival

One laptop. Forty power strips. A jerrycan doing structural work. No booth, no barrier, no guestlist, and the floor is completely full.

Beat those four. Best name wins.

Searching Halloween gets you 2,512 files in a pile. Matching the tempo only gets you halfway — two records at 130 in clashing keys still sound wrong, and on a themed night the room is listening harder than usual.

So here are fifteen tracks sorted into three runs, by Camelot key. Inside each run, every move is legal.

Pick one run. Play it straight through. Swipe →

Halloween sets don’t die because the records are wrong. They die because the tempo gets stuck.

You open slow and can’t climb. Or you open at 128 and have nowhere to go at midnight.

A transition edit fixes it in one record: it starts at one tempo and ends at another.

Here’s a whole night, 70 to 140 BPM and back, built from seven files that are already in the library. Swipe →

What’s your Halloween opener?

Not the whole set. The first record.

20 days out, and there are 2,503 Halloween tracks in the library right now, plus 156 more tagged spooky. Tempos from 59 to 171.

Here’s the thing most people get wrong: a Halloween set isn’t a novelty set. The floor still wants records they know. You just want them in costume.

Halloween is in 22 days.

The packs are up. Horror edits, themed transitions, FX and stings, all with BPM and key already on them.

Here is the part most DJs get wrong: a Halloween set is not a novelty set. The floor still wants records they know. You just want them wearing a costume.

Download it now, not on the 30th.

$0.42 a day.

That is full access to 535,726 tracks on rpool.id, if you take the year.

Now compare it to what you actually do every week. Rip it off YouTube. Play a 128kbps file through a club system. Guess the BPM. Find out there is no key on it. Find out there is no clean version, and the booking is a wedding. Lose forty minutes before every single gig doing all of that.

Here is what replaces it:

→ 535,726 tracks, growing by about 265 a day → BPM and Camelot key on every single file → Clean, dirty, intro, acapella, instrumental, quick hit, transition → Unlimited downloads. No credits, no daily cap, no queue → High quality audio, no ads

Now do the maths. $153.41 for the year, 535,726 tracks. That is 3,492 tracks for every dollar you spend.

And taking the year instead of twelve single months saves you $51.19 — $153.41 against $204.60. That is 25 percent off, for pressing a different button once.

No catch. Every term is a one-time payment if you want it that way. Nothing renews, nothing charges you again, nothing to cancel in six months. Prefer auto-renew? Same price, exactly.

Take the year. $0.42 a day.

Main caption — short (recommended)

Track of the Day: Cinderella. Mac Miller with Ty Dolla $ign, 2016.

It went from #4 to #2 on our board overnight. Nine downloads in a day, the biggest jump on there.

It also charted on the Hot 100 for the first time this year, ten years after it came out.
