▰ a new orleans dj legend, it’s an absolute delight to have RQ Away at tropical gems 🫶🏽 this man is always uplifting those around him, is a sharp cultural curator, has an impeccable musical taste and dance floor vision 👁️ i got a tremendous amount of admiration for what he does for this city, from his “lagniappe” party at @tipitinas raising thousands of dollars and resources for local community organizations (for 11years!!!) to his intimate vinyl gigs all around town ⚜️ nuff said, this months tropical gems is extra special and I reccomend coming early cause it will be packed and hot 🥵

WE CELEBRATE 9 YEARS THIS SATURDAY IN COLLABORATION WITH @ICEHOUSERADIO!

This year for the anniversary party we wanted to go big in a way that focuses on New Orleans and how everything we truly love about nightlife is right here at home. ❤️‍🔥

We've invited our family at Ice House Radio (from our sister city, Houston) to join us in shining a spotlight on the brilliance of the artists here in the 504 and help us give them another way to touch the world.

We'll be at Poorboys, where we first loved on the dancefloor, and we'll be setting things up a little differently as Ice House Radio records video of the sets. We want you here with us, bringing your energy to the room. ✨

New Orleans is both a homegrown city and an international one. Our line up reflects this featuring local legends: @RQAWAY, @MIKEYOFFLINE, @LEGATRONPRIME, @ANTWIGADEE!, @_DJ_JESS, @SUNDEEAHHHTAA, @CESTFUNK, and @SANA.AKA.NOFACE.
