Everett found a new sport he loves! Wrestling! He improved so fast and eventually earned the varsity spot for the lightest weight class. Unfortunately his season was cut short in his first fifteen seconds of his first varsity tournament when he came down hard on a slam Jan 23rd. 10 days later he became iron man with surgery with adding a plate and 6 screws. He is one month post op and we are about to get cleared for running to start his track season delayed. His one and only question for the surgeon was “When can I start wrestling again?” by @rriding4210

Vin decided to compete in winter track with a club team. He had a total of 4 meets. He had a lot of fun and so did I watching him. Vin is always willing to put in the work he needs to even if it’s by himself. by @rriding4210

Day 1 back to coaching after being gone for over two weeks. That first step back to normal is hard. Unfortunately when you need time to grieve, the world and life doesn’t wait. When you aren’t ready to move on, everything else keeps going anyways. Thanks to the gym family for a warm welcome back and the major support while I was absent. Coaching these people brings me joy and I do need more of that right now. Hoping to see many more happy gym faces soon. @cfsolidgold by @rriding4210

I hit 365 workouts on 10/24. It started with a Street parking in the wild moment in an IEP meeting with my 75 sweatshirt and has evolved into weekly workouts together since January. Today was an intimate workout for @rriding4210 and I! This metcon was specifically designed in memory of loss of loved one in suicide.
Rae and I didn't get to do this over Labor Day and we both related in losing our mom's to suicide. Today we made it our tradition to do every year!
There's a time cap at 24 minutes but Rae and I decided to finish it out at 46:20 RX

125 Backsquats
125 Push Press
125 Bar facing Burpees
*At 6:00, 12:00, 18:00 and 24:00 complete 30 synchro sit-ups.
