Damn it feels good to be back behind the wheel of this thing. The first outing had to be for a @carfeine_cfwk event. My favourite thing to go along to, great to meet new people and have a good chat with everyone. by @rs4_draper

It has been a long "winter" life has been pretty hectic but I have managed to squeeze in some car jobs, here's a little update and a few of the things I have done since it was last out:
• New wheels and tyres
• Adjusted suspension struts so they required less air to lift
• Reupholstered headliner
• Complete stealth air install
• Fixed and freed up exhaust valves
• Painted calipers
• Full clean underneath and rust treatment (converter, epoxy paint and wax)
• Fit new 2.5" downpipes with precat delete and sports cats
• Smoothed off number plate recess with magnets for quick plate attachment
• New registration number
• Designed and 3d printed bump stops for the rear
• Repaired loose rear heat shields
• Resprayed the front bumper and wings due to damage/corrosion
• Full service
• Installed K & N panel filter
• Hard wired in a battery tender connection
• Replaced glovebox damper
•
...I think that's all 🙃. Now time to get it out for a drive by @rs4_draper

Success with the bumpstops, as much as I like bacon 🥓 I'd like to keep it away from my arches, hopefully this works 😅. A bit of a size difference between the sides but nothing that a quick redesign couldn't fix. (CAD and printing is from the 2nd attempt). I used the first yellow print, realised I need a bit more so I printed a stack of shims of 2, 3 and 5mm to clip onto the shock until they were perfect then added that amount to the final version and labeled them.
I've come up with an idea to make these modular so I could potentially make and sell them for anyone who would like some to protect their arches also. by @rs4_draper
