So this überfan just finished Crystal Lake. While it had some clunky stuff and it felt a little bit "Revenge of the Sith" at the end ("get all the chess pieces in place, hurry!"), the overall show was incredibly rock solid. You can tell Brad Caleb Kane is a fan, and he's basically taking existing puzzle pieces fans have speculated over for years but building his OWN version of the complete puzzle of those early years of these characters, which is why I call it the best "fan fiction" I've seen, in a loving sense of course. Linda Cardellini was excellent, as were Will Catlett, Callum Vinson and the young Gwendolyn Sundstrom was the biggest surprise of all, both as a young actor and the arc of her character. The show isn't always handling things super elegantly, sometimes it leans a BIT much on fanservice, but it was still a real delight to watch when you pick up on what BCK is putting down. 7 really solid machetes out of 10. Maybe 8 weak ones. Season 2 and UHD 4K? We can only hope. Also Officer Dorf is now the coolest cat in the franchise. 😎

Briefly since I refuse to mess with PC versions, lol. Friday the 13th: The Game on console in 2026: for PS, look up DNS solutions online. For Xbox you can only access the highly limited Offline mode (Level 0 lock, no unlocks, no purchases, etc), but that's by spamming D-pad down (keep pressing it vigorously) as you press Y for Offline mode. Keep spamming it as you press A to confirm. If you're lucky, when you get to the menu, it'll skip down the various menu selections. That's a success. If the menu is simply frozen and unusable, reboot the game and try again. Ridiculous situation, you'd wish they would at least patch the game so all players are locked to like Level 100 and the Offline menu is fully usable, but here we are. You do not need Game Pass to play it, just select "No thank you" when prompted, and if you've had the Savini Jason skin that should still be tied to your account. No bloodied versions though, and you can only play as Part 3, Roy and Savini Jason. Absurd really. Anyway, at least something is accessible, but I hear PC is the way to go. One day maybe.

My 9 albums. I didn't want to just do formative albums, but a few recent favorites at the end as well.

Alright, main story campaign 100% completed in Lego Batman. Did I do ALL the challenges and collect ALL the Batsymbol coins? No, those are optional, but I got all the requirements for the Mythic Achievement. Saw it pop up on screen too, my very first one, they have a nice white glow and a cool sound effect. Only the DLC remains, Mayhem Mode.

I've learned a very hard lesson recently, lol. If you are going to order a big home electronics piece, DO NOT add anything to the order like an Xbox controller. Two separate orders, always. 😭 Anyway, long story short, I can (only) enjoy this controller this weekend. Glad it's here though, sure. This requires a USB reciever stick in your Xbox at all times, but beyond that minor inconvenience it's a freaking fantastic controller. "Don't you have enough of them?" You'd think so, but this is the "endgame" one - multi modes, TMR sticks that won't break, triggers that can switch modes ("regular press" or "click"), and two paddles and two buttons at the bottom which can be assigned any way you like. It's also ergonomically perfect, the shape is very clearly designed to be as comfortable as humanly possible. So bucket list item cleared.

Love @enebagames sometimes, I bought a code instead of pre-ordering this outright, saving $40 on an already crazy expensive game. That can be risky, will they deliver on time? When I woke up this morning, bam, there was the code, right in my inbox. 😉 My expectations for this game are nothing short of astronomical, I love the Gears games more than anything (and ironically they haven't fumbled the ball with them like with Halo so it's one of the last great XBOX flagships).

Thank you @giorgioarmani for the sample of "I Will", can't wait to try this. If anyone wants to try free perfume samples, just engage with your favorite brands on social media a lot, put the feelers out there often so to speak, and if you're lucky, offers will pop right up on Instagram or Facebook. Nothing shady, nothing special you have to do, but I'll always post about it and tag them, that's kind of the whole idea. 😉 Update: used this twice, it's a very nice and elegant vanilla/floral/wood scent. Subtle and classy compared to what I'm used to these days.

I'm 39 years old today (happy birthday to me), and I ran out of a shaving product. The wonders never cease. I'm not going to run out and replace this one (I do like it though), but in time I'll try some new stuff, from a new website I have yet to order from. Right now I'm focusing on the apartment, clothes, essentials.

After almost 54 hours I'm finally 100% finished with Mafia: The Old Country. Great game, enjoyed it a lot (in Sicilian), but it had some quirks, bugs and crashes, no doubt. Checkpoint replay would've been nice, and ONE button to strangle, sharpen a knife and search bodies? Come on. 😅 If you want 100%, here's my guide: play the game on Classic Difficulty, but in Chapter 3, when you ride to the lemon farmer, DON'T PICK UP ANY NOTES, just enter the code 10-20-30 directly on the safe. Enjoy the rest of the story. Then go back and collect everything in the chapters with video guides, making sure you collect EVERYTHING in each chapter. After that, Free Ride/Free Roam. And for Assassinations, toughest of all - Charms, Throwing knives and the D-pad Sense ability are your friends. Just get in, assassinate your target, get out. No safes need to be cracked. Also, driving can be made easier in the menu AND with Charms. Good luck!
