Every year my birthday shoots have become somewhat of a passion project..taking an idea and turning it into a creative cohesive visual expression of my true self 🥰 This year it all started with an intention I posted to my stories. Chapter 43: Pause & Bloom 🌿 8.27 🌻🌺🌹♍️

Be still long enough to honor the present. 😌

Where we are today is the sum of every choice we’ve made…the seeds we planted, the risks we took, the things we survived, and the work nobody saw. 🌻

I spent my 20s and 30s building. My 40s are teaching me to enjoy the fruits of those choices. To listen to my body. To protect my peace. To move slower, smarter, and with intention. 🌺

The roots are planted. I don’t have to rush the bloom. 🌹And I damn sure won’t let this world, or the internet, rush my journey to greatness. 👸🏽

I’m still ambitious. Still calculating. True power doesn’t always have to be loud.

And just because I look soft doesn’t mean I don’t have a dragon with me at all times. 🐉😉

My protection will always be in the room protecting what I’ve built and everything I’m still building. ✨👸🏽
