Another hard fought day at the comp. Just wasn’t our weekend. @cabe.ninety grenaded his diff early in the day but we were able to get his spare in time for the comp. Then of course my car starts miss firing like it’s never done before and won’t even spin the tire lol. Still had a really good day w allllll the homies and I am now a bmw tech according to @laceybro.og 😂 by @rtaylor52_

Well yesterday was a learning experience to say the least.

Day started off good, showed up with a tire that wasn’t fully seated and had to get that fixed right away. Got some solid solo laps on some wore out 285s from the last event that were loosey goosey to figuring out the track, parked the car to do all four corner tire change. After realizing 30 mins before comp started that the front I had got wouldn’t fit on my wide ass wheels @901alston_p (crew chief for the day) and I scrambled around trying to get the car back on the ground to get some chase practice. In the midst of all this while the car was in the air we found a coolant leak😵‍💫. Ended up getting one lap of chase practice before comp started and man was it sloppy lol

Managed to pull it together in my first battle against @eric.sosideways and pulled the win. Had a solid lead lap in my second battle till the last corner where I transitioned too hard on throttle and the car just looped. At this point I was pissed lol, so in the chase I got way too aggressive and got into his door a little too hard and I don’t really remember what happened but I think I did the same thing again where I just transitioned too hard and parked it.

Looking back I definitely knew better than to do that but I just wasn’t thinking.

Needless to say I learned a lot lol. Need to be more prepared next time for sure and not show up with a half assed amount of tires half way on and a car I’m more in sync with.

Thank you everyone who helped on the car all day and alston for spotting for me by @rtaylor52_
