A great day on the greens for an even greater cause. ⛳️

Team members from across @gslgroup, representing @rtlkelowna, Prospera Place, @sofmcvic, and @coastcaprihotel, hit the course today at The Harvest Golf Club for the 4th Annual Agnes Parke Memorial Golf Tournament.

Hosted by our incredible partners at @parkepacificprojects, this tournament brings the community together each year to honour Agnes Parke’s legacy, raising essential funds for the KGH Foundation to support local Parkinson’s care and research ❤️ by @rtlkelowna

Our hearts are with our friends and neighbours across Summerland and the Okanagan who are affected by the ongoing wildfires and evacuations.

To all our firefighters, emergency crews, and first responders working tirelessly on the front lines to keep our communities safe: thank you. Having had the honour of welcoming local firefighters to Rock The Lake, we’ve seen firsthand the dedication, strength, and heart you bring to our region every day.

For evacuees and those affected by the fires, our sister company, @coastcaprihotel, is offering a community space and an outdoor pool area, perfect for families. They are also accepting donations on behalf of Mamas For Mamas, which can be dropped off at reception 24/7 if you're looking to help.

We're so proud to see our community staying strong, safe, and resilient ❤️ by @rtlkelowna

Freeze The Fall: “The LIZARD Rocker of the Month” for August!

The Rock of Kelowna, 104.7 The LIZARD, is tipping its hat to ever-maturing local rock outfit Freeze The Fall, fresh from their on stage summer exploits at Rock The Lake.

They’ll next perform at the four-day Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky, in September in a line up that includes Iron Maiden, My Chemical Romance, Limp Bizkit, and Tool.

Check out the video as Freeze The Fall reflects on their successful, but rather hot gig in the afternoon sun outside Prospera Place which included a distinct lack of fans...the type you plug in! #kelowna #okanagan by @rtlkelowna

It's been 10 days since RTL26, and we're still thinking about these moments.

A huge thank you to our presenting sponsor, @kelownachrysler, our incredible partners and sponsors, and our parent company, @gslgroup, for helping make year nine another unforgettable weekend of live music in the heart of our favourite city.

Already counting down to next year. by @rtlkelowna
