🌍 Ever thought about how grasslands play a crucial role in our ecosystem? 👉 Tag someone who needs to hear this EPISODE 20 - Un-Herd of Benefits: Regenerative grazing restores soil health. Healthy grasslands aren’t just pretty landscapes; they’re powerhouses for carbon storage and biodiversity. Did you know that they make up 50% of the Earth’s surface yet are the most understudied ecosystems? Grasses have deep root systems that die off annually, enriching the soil and capturing carbon - a natural solution to combat climate change. The importance of soil health can’t be overstated; it’s essential for food security and water cycling. Let’s not overlook the hidden world beneath our feet. What’s your take on the importance of grasslands? PODCAST HOST in 🇳🇿 ! @rtufton was down under recently visiting farms and food businesses in New Zealand (Aotearoa) & Australia. He fortunately had time to visit our ☺️ friend @franbaileypr She gave him a tour of the farm in Waikato where the @undergroundfestivalnz (that Fran founded) is based. Fran was the reason Six Inches of Soil was seen by so many people in New Zealand. She has been on board with us from the start and we hope one day more of us can go and visit to meet the ‘underground’ community on the other side of the world! by @rtufton
