SCREAMSCAPE IS ALMOST HERE!!!

From October 23rd through November 20th, we’re inviting the entire Rowan community to experience two of our Halloween experiences!

Scan the QR code to visit our sign-up page and reserve your preferred date and time. Showings run from 10 AM-5 PM.

Admission is $10 per experience, per person. Groups of 10 or more receive a discounted rate of $5 per experience, per person!

Here you can enjoy exploring the Backrooms or perhaps stepping into the world of the House Remembers. Our first class of the day completed Cascade, our disaster management simulation! It was fun watching students work through one of our more chaotic modules. We also enjoyed hearing them explain the reasoning behind their choices and how those decisions contributed to their learning! 😊

Research is only one part of the SURP experience.

Last week, SURP students explored the power of immersive learning during a visit to Rowan's Dreamscape Learn Center, experiencing firsthand how virtual reality is transforming education. Special thanks to George Lecake, Ph.D., for introducing students to immersive learning through this interactive experience.

Throughout the summer, students build professional skills through workshops, networking opportunities and career development experiences alongside their research projects.

We recently visited Rowan’s Dreamscape Learn Center to experience immersive VR in the classroom 🎧

Already being used in areas like biology, this technology is opening new ways to engage with science.
