A big yes for my dream 🥹

&a lot of training to get there

I think one thing I’ve really learnt this year , is sometimes all you need is your yes , your commitment to start something new . To sign up for something exciting .
I realised I missed so many opportunities in the past because I had the mindset that I had to be a certain version of myself to qualify, to enter a space .
I would look at Race entries and think I had to possess the race day readiness in that moment .and I would disqualify myself before I had even the opportunity to try .

I thought I had to be fit enough , strong enough , equipped enough . But I didn’t see that we have time to grow , we have time to train and become stronger, better , fitter on the way . AND HOW COOL IS THAT . We can change 🙌🏼

all you need is a yes and faith that it will come to be .
& I can give thanks that God has already equipped me with those & the rest will follow 🤍

I’ve been marvelling at the transformation God does recently .

And a fundamental memory goes back to July 2022
Hitting rock bottom on my friends bathroom floor wanting so desperately to be seen and loved. A devastation to the point of harm, wanting to end everything.

God heard
El Roi (Gen 16:13)

and he began to captivate my heart

He totally transforms us inside and out
He is holistic and his ways are balanced and perfect
He is patient with us , when we keep going astray

Often I think Yoh if I had just been obedient, I would have gotten where I am now so much faster .
But despite all my falls and lack of obedience, He is still good , his love still endured and he still saw the best in me

His ways are also not our own . & not limited to our small minds understanding. If you had told me in 2022 the desires of my current heart , my life ,my joys , I would have rejected them.

And I think that’s the beauty of journeying with God. Because if I had gotten drastic instant transformation , it would have been something foreign to me .
But God is so patient to journey with us in change . He transforms our mind, rewires ways of thinking and bestows on us Identity .

So if you let him and come back to him . He really can transform your life ✝️
Because he did it with me
