Little bit of vulnerability dump 🫶🏼💕

Lately, I’ve been harsh on myself criticising my personality, my looks, everything. I usually see the glass as half full but recently, that’s been tough. I hide behind a smile for the outside world 🌍

I need to remind myself that it’s okay not to feel happy all the time. I’m just a girl doing her best, when those tough moments hit, sometimes I have to relearn to show up with love instead of criticism.

If you’ve been feeling the same, please be gentle with yourself. You’re doing better than you think, and you absolutely deserve your own love ❤️

A weekend full of women in sport, hyping each other up and having the best time doing it 🥹🫶🏻

I never thought I’d say this, but I think I’ve fallen out of love with running 🥹🏃‍♀️

I used to really, really love it…

It was a love language for me and my friends. Long runs were how we caught up, had the best chats, processed life and spent hours together. It was my release, my social life and something that made me feel like myself.

Since moving to Australia, running has sometimes made me homesick. I miss the people, the long runs, the memories and the version of me that existed around running.

And then after my injury last year, I never quite got that love back. I started running on eggshells, constantly wondering if something was going to hurt again or if I was pushing too much.

I think I started associating running with pressure instead of freedom.

I miss the feeling of getting lost in a run, and I really want that back.

So maybe this is me slowly finding my way back to running. Without the pressure, without the expectations and without needing every run to be perfect 💫
