Grand opening of new restaurant Ruby Q adds some spice to “Sugar Town” this weekend! The Southern-style BBQ business is the latest addition in the town of Crockett known for the landmark C & H sugar factory. Chef and Owner Reuben McElligott is partnering up with his long-time best friends brother-sister duo Nick and Christina Nicora - investing in the small town that has a big heart. They hope the new business will give people a reason to pay a visit to Crockett situated beside a major thoroughfare - the Carquinez Bridge.

Ruby Q’s is a testament to the owner’s family recipes dating back to 1901 when they started cooking for their community in another small town in Texas. The menu features fan favorites like the beef brisket, ribs, and collard greens. Crowds enjoyed food, billiards, live music by local singer @beeb0nation , and dancing. Kids are welcome in the restaurant section. @ruby_q_smokefusion taken in San Francisco Bay Area by @ruby_q_smokefusion
