Happy Onam!!

Today I didn’t choose a Kasavu saree to drape. Here I’m in my mom’s saree, which is perfect for Onam celebration!

Happy Vara Mahalaxmi to all those who are celebrating!

This festival is observed on the second Friday immediately preceding the full moon during the month of Shravan.

Yesterday for a get together draped this red Bandhani in chiffon which I recently got from my Udaipur trip. It was just after Teej so we all were in Bandhani or Leheriya to keep the festive fervour alive.

It’s the simple joys in life that sneak in and bring us unexpected smiles:))

Was in Ahmedabad in the first week of July to attend the baby shower of my sister’s younger DIL.
Last weekend she was blessed with a baby boy and it’s so overwhelming to welcome the fourth generation of our family.
.
In a Sico Mangalgiri with Kanchi inspired borders. What I love about these sarees is no patterns or buttas on the body, putting complete focus on the lustrous borders and rich pallu.
